Summary; I destroy the Tokugawa and my enemies dither around Mino long enough for Owari to survive! On top of that, while the Kitabatake and Imagawa finally arrive, the Hattori move off west towards their lands! On top of that, the Mori and, more locally, the Anegawaji clans are annihilated. Only myself, the Takeda, the Chosokabe and the Uesugi remain of the great clans now, though the qualification of "Great" is swiftly becoming meaningless.

Success! The Tokugawa fall right into the trap, and I take Mikawa and destroy them after shooting down their retainers with only two friendly fire related losses. The Tokugawa army I feared would become rebels dissapates immediately! I also train units at Owari and Mino, just in case one survives... and one does!

The new alliance between the Kitabatake and the Hattori, cowards who can't face me down individually it seems, goes awry as they both gang up on the 45 worthless retainers in Mino, leaving Owari still in my hands and in range of my restored army! The morons have handed me a stay of execution!

Sudden revivals aside, my position is still nearly hopeless. I now have only two provinces left, and I must lose one of them, as the Imagawa are hovering just outside my new province (which is on the brink of revolt as well.) I must now debate whether or not to abandon Owari, crash through this new Imagawa threat and if necessary their allies the Takeda, and seek one of my enemies destruction with the intent of turning west again later to deal with the hated Hattori and Kitabatake. Do I risk all and try to seize the Imagawa lands, or do I protect my capital and consolidate my weakened position? I know what Oda Nobunaga would have done...

On a side note, the Mori and Anegakoji get themselves annihilated. I am now one of only four great clans, including the Chosokabe, Uesugi and Takeda. Though the "great" qualification is swiftly being rendered meaningless.
