Episode 3: Flop Starz
The episode begins with Phineas, Ferb, and Candace eating some breakfast while watching a commercial for some American Idol rip off. Some dude says there will be auditions held for The Next Super American Pop Teen Idol Star at the Googolplex Mall.
Candace is super excited and runs off to tell Stacy.
Phineas: That Pop Star stuff might be fun at first but then you'd be stuck in a dead end job. Too bad you can't just do it once and then move on.
Linda: Well what your talking about is One Hit Wonder
Phineas: A One Hit Wonder? What's that?
I'd tell but I'll let Linda explain it.
Linda: Well, a musical act goes to the top of the chart with a catchy tune and meaningless lyrics. Then they throw a big diva tantrum, lose their label, then face obscurity. Before they know it, their song is... elevator music. Years later, they have a reunion concert, and after that, they never sing again, and no one remembers them. Not that I would know anything about that.

So Phineas and Ferb decide to become a One Hit Wonder. After a little scene of Candace trying on clothes...
Phineas: Hey,Where's Perry?

So Agent P meets with Monogram then leaves. That was short.
Candace and Stacy arrive at the audition/ After a little pep talk from Stacy, Jeremy(Some dude who Candace has a crush on) shows up.
Jeremy explains that he is not there to audition, but to hear the hot new band called "PFT".
Jeremy: The 100th Contestant gets to sing on stage with the band!
Gee, could the 100th contestant be...Candace?
Yes. Yes she is.
3 Guesses to who, PFT is. The first 2 don't count.
Candace: Phineas?!
Phineas:Candace? Your the 100th Contestant? How serendipitous! This will be like a brother-sister thing. I'm assuming you've heard our single I mean who hasn't right? Here's the words. Don't worry if you get lost. The lyrics are meaningless anyway.
Yes, COMPLETELY Meaningless...
Anyway...SONG TIME!
This song is called "Gitchee, Gitchee, Goo". It might be the most popular song in the series. It's an awesome song but some the lyrics are a bit...odd.
Phineas: Bow, Chicka, Bow-Wow!
Other People:That's what my baby says!
Phineas: Mow-mow-mow!
Other People: And my heart starts pumping!
Phineas: Chicka-Chicka, Choo Wap!
Other People: Never gonna stop!
All: Gitchee Gitchee Goo means that I love you!
Hmmm....Bow Chicka Bow Wow...That sounds familiar. I'm sure it's nothing.
Anyway, Phineas cues up Candace. She is furious that the boys have beaten her to her dream of becoming a pop star and refuses to sing. She then threatens to tell mom and storms off the stage.
Joy Killer. Where were we?
Oh ya. Some dude called Ben Baxter talks to Phineas after the song.
Ben Baxter: Hi, I'm Ben Baxter, Huge-O Records! Why don't you come by my office in 1 hour and we can talk about your future!
Phineas: Future? Cool. He must be a physic.
Oh Phineas, so young and clueless.
Meanwhile, Candace drags her mom back to the audition stage and points to shadows behind a curtain and tells her mom it's them.
Dude: Ladies and Gentle Men, once again..Marty The Rabbit Boy and his musical blender!
How..random!
Back in The Perry subplot, Agent P arrives at Doofs building where we hear the Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc jingle for the first time.
Perry shows up wearing some Goofy Glasses and Doof think it's his new temp.
Doofenshmirtz: You see in a few minutes, I will unleash an unprecedented reign of Tower upon the ENTIRE..Tri State Area
OF COURSE!
Anyway, Doof turns his building into a Giant Robot and goes around town.
Meanwhile, Candace sees a PFT poster on the side of the building and takes Mom outside to show it to her. As it turns out, Phineas was allowed to put it up on the building for free because it was scheduled for demolition. It gets torn down and Linda doesn't believe Candace.
Anyway, Phineas and Ferb are over at Huge-O Records as that Ben dude is talking to them.
Ben offers them a contract and part of it is a follow up single.
Phineas:Follow-up single?! Who do you think we are, some two-bit hacks who will keep writing you songs simply because you pay us obscene amounts of cash? Phineas and the Ferb-Tones are strictly a one-hit wonder. Good day to you, sir.
Hmmm, why does that sound familiar. ?
So They've got the Diva Tantrum down. And The Elevator music.
Ben Baxter: Who needs them? I've still got that video tape of their performance. We could do Live C Ds,DV Ds,Podcast. Heck we could digitally recreate their images to make our own sitcom. "The Phineas and Ferb Show"! We can squeeze 20 years of entertainment out of this one video tape!
Wow. What an evil bastard.
Meanwhile, Doof sits down for a Deli Platter and offers Perry some Pepper. The Pepper makes the Robot Sneeze and they get blown out. The tape ends up in Perry's hands and Perry uses it to grab hold of a flagpole and save himself.
Doof lands on the top of a truck with a mattress on top . Unfortunately it is from the Amazing Folding Mattress Company, which then proceeds to fold up with him inside.
Then the robot crushes him.
Doofenshmirtz: CURSE YOU PERRY THE PLATYPUS!
Owned.
Back at the mall, Marty the Rabbit Boy has just been announced as the winner.
Jeremy talks to Candace and tells her something that amounts to "Just Sing you stupid bitch"
Then Candace joins for the last verse of Gitchee, Gitchee, Goo.
Candace: That Was Great! I've been thinking of my brothers all wrong. They're not a nuisance. They're my ticket to=
Phineas: Thanks you've been great! That's the last time were ever gonna sing that song. We're Retiring. Good Night!

Final Thought: Better then the first 2 episodes. The song is really awesome and it has some funny gags in it.
