News flash: University work can take up a lot of your free time. With that brief explanation for my lack of updates out of the way, let’s grab hold of a blonde chick and refuse to let go! ...Oh, and before I forget, the title for today's installment is Doctor Thunder's current forum signature. And trust me, there's a good reason for that.
So, we begin right after preventing Thursday’s rampage, just as the end of the last update told us we would, as it’s the safest point in time to return to. We also have a bunch of new diary entries, and one of them is “Yeah, this has nothing to do with the pudding, but I wanna thank her for her work and get a good ending, dood!” After all that time panicking many updates ago, it’s good to finally see something come out of it. There’s also some lines about Laharl being ignorant, Etna being concerned about Flonne, and that having Etna give Laharl her pudding would help our Prinny make him do anything. Now, with that out of the way, on to the plot!
After watching Captain Gordon and his assistants once again split up to search for Mao, we see that Jennifer’s staying in the Throne Room. Laharl runs into her, and Jennifer asks if he’s proposed to Etna yet…which, considering that she just called him ‘little boy’, sounds a tad odd to me. Laharl asks what’s going on, and offers to help if Jennifer keeps her body away from him. Upon inquiry as to why he’d help, Laharl changes his mind and denies being interested.
At 15 o’clock, Jennifer runs into Flonne in the Hall. She directs us to Thursday, who’s already trying to stop Mao from doing…something. Flonne’s in a hurry over something, so she runs off. According to our Timetable, had we followed the Fallen Angel, we would’ve bumped into Etna again. Instead, we move to the next scene, and witness a conversation between Laharl…and Raspberyl from Disgaea 3? My word, it was one thing to encounter Mao, but this?! How could anyone have foreseen such a turn of events…besides, y’know, looking at the game’s box or reading the manual.
Anyways, Laharl seems to be refusing to do foolish volunteer work, which fans of Disgaea 3 knows is one of Raspberyl’s favorite pastimes. She claims that the journey’s just begun…and then Jennifer acts shocked that Laharl’s moved on from Etna to another girl. Laharl freaks out and leaves Raspberyl with Jennifer, even though he knew we were looking for a delivery BOY. Raspberyl scolds him for giving up in the middle of class, and after Jennifer expresses interest, the ‘badass’ decides to teach both of us the spirit of being a delinquent. Laharl quickly runs off, but Jennifer stops Raspberyl from chasing after him because Laharl’s “at a confused age”. Since Jennifer’s still interested in what the pink-haired girl has to say, Raspberyl settles for a one-person class.
“Database: What is an Overlord?” has been added!
“Database: Volunteer” has been added!
One hour later, Raspberyl’s continuing her lecture by talking about greetings and collecting Hellmarks.
TickTock: [The class keeps going and going and going!]
Prinny: [*yawn*…I guess I fell asleep, dood…That girl’s still lecturing?]
“Database: Hellmark” has been added!
Yet another hour later, Raspberyl’s finished talking about Hellmarks, ending the class. I’d continue onwards, but with the introduction to a brand new character to follow around and possibly brainwash, I’d like to know if my readers (if I haven’t lost you all due to my lack of updates) want to follow the blonde or the delinquent. IMPORTANT EDIT: Long story short, I'm an idiot. Short story long, I kinda forgot that I stopped literally a few lines before time resets back to 13 o'clock, and thus it wouldn't matter if you chose Jennifer or Raspberyl. But hey, you can still choose between following Thursday, Flonne, or Laharl once we go back, right? ...Right?
