Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

There's just one issue I had with the ending...

The Demon King's soul has been sealed away, and he cannot return to his own body.

But on the other hand, the Demon King's soul was not killed with his body, and he can possess other people just like he did Lyon. Meanwhile, the last Sacred Stone is corrupted and can no longer be used without risking... well, a repetition where the next generation is worse off.

Am I the only person who thinks that the ending would have been happier if they hadn't bothered with the sacred stone and just killed the demon king without sealing him first?

Actually, L'Arachel says this after the stone takes the demon kings soul "The Demon King’s soul has been bound once more. But, Eirika, it’s not over yet. The Demon King’s soul rages against its prison. We must return it to its proper place—and quickly. But first, we must defeat the Demon King’s soulless body!". (From Serenes Forest) Basically, they damage his body to the point that it fades, and then at the last moment, shove his soul back in so that it fades alongside it's body.

By "proper place", she meant "inside a shrine".
