Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

I made Franz a Great Knight, though I can get Paladin to avoid the weakness to Armorslayers and the like.

However, I liked Great Knight Franz.

Also, the same way Garcia auto-joins if you didn't recruit him during the chapter, Lute will join at the end of the chapter if you didn't recruit her during the battle.

Alright, so Franz will become a Great Knight.

Yeah, I knew about that. It's quite convenient, in case you didn't have time (by killing the enemies too early) or forgot about the house, so that you don't lose out on a good character.

When it comes to promotions, I tend to focus on getting at least one of every class in my roster. I've never actually cleared more than seven battles in this game, but it's the reason why I'd send Ewan down the Dark Magic path, even though he doesn't have a crazy personality to go with it.

With Franz, a Great Knight, a Paladin, and two other cavaliers join during the main plot, so it's not as though there's a role that only he can fill. Then again, you are limiting yourself to certain characters...

Oh, I'll just vote Great Knight, since I can't really decide between his two promotions and it's already been voted for once. But when it comes time to talk about someone like Neimi, I'll be ready, willing, and eager to vote!

Cool, glad to hear it. And yeah, with my relatively limited parties, I tend to forgo class coverage with weapon coverage, so I'm liable to miss out on some classes, especially in a game like Sacred Stones, with so many classes available.
