Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Will Jeorge be any good soon? Also, this may be too slow a response, but I'm surprised Barst was so good if serenesforest's growths are to be taken seriously. Even accounting for RNG it's bizarre.

Are any of the gaiden characters better than the main chapter characters you could have gotten?

Everyone except Ymir and Jake are at 20/20 (or 0/20 in Jeorge's case)

Jeorge is sadly rather underwhelming, but he isn't a liability, since his 10 strength is dealt with by the Parthia, and he has a usable speed and skill stat. He's frail as hell though. As for Barst, I wasn't expecting him to be that good either, but he's turned out to be a pretty tough fighter, and makes a fantastic warrior in the party.

I think Athena is about as good as Navarre, or at least close. Etzel is the only natural sorcerer, and is the only really good one to be honest, save for possibly Draug and Caeser. Ymir is okay, but not as good as a trained Barst, Bord, or Cord. Horace is just bad in this game, and Nagi is basically a trained Tiki, so that's always helpful.
