We're determining the definition of the trope "Spoony Bard", which is fundamentally about character classes in an RPG (be it tabletop RPG, video game RPG, or story about an RPG).

The various options are mutually compatible. You can vote up or down any combination.

This trope needs to be split into two tropes, one about quirky tagalong characters who are usually bards, and the other about mechanically unusual classes that are usually named bard and are not damage dealers.

0 (Yeas:5 Nays:5)

This trope applies only to character classes explicitly named "bard".

This trope applies only to character classes that have unusual mechanics, as compared to other classes in the same work.
