* AssPull: Seriously, the twist at the end does not make sense. It just comes out of nowhere.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** The monsters are Reapers, breaking down humans into base components for study. Just a smaller scale.
** Alternatively, the monsters are Death Probes, breaking down humans into base components for study.
** The creatures "eat" their victims in the same way the giant spider does in Film/TheGiantSpiderInvasion. At least these creatures don't eat victims with their butt.
** The film's original writer, Alan Silliphant, was the brother of Stirling Silliphant, the fellow who bet Harold P. Warren that he couldn't make a horror film on a tiny budget. The result? Another legendary bad film and [=MST3K=] subject, Film/ManosTheHandsOfFate.
* Narm: Pretty much anytime the film tries to be serious, whether due to the piss-poor special effects, the stilted[=/=]Melodrama melodramatic acting, the idiotic decisions made by most of the characters, the narration that can get really annoying after a while, or all four. Original writer Alan Silliphant even tried to convince Vic Savage to make it a deliberately campy SoBadItsGood film, to no avail.
* NarmCharm: Bobby's granddad is so rotund, watching him try to walk up a slight incline comes off as hilarious.
-->Crow: Uh-oh, here comes the most challenging stunt in this movie...
* NightmareRetardant
-->Mike: The "creeping" part is apt, but the "terror" is just not happening.
* SpecialEffectFailure:
** The titular "terror" is a space creature who "eats" people by having them climb up into its maw. It doesn't help the monster is made primarily out of carpeting. Supposedly, the people operating it often suffered from heatstroke.
** The musician's guitar is obviously a breakaway prop.
