1	* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: The "good" beetles in the second episode really did want to help Toast Boy, however, their poor knowledge of human anatomy and psyche betrayed them.
2	** This also happens with the supposed DownerEnding, where Toast Boy [[spoiler:goes to get his brain fixed]]. One wonders if he actually went there [[spoiler:thinking that's what it was (as in, really getting his brain fixed) or if he knew what it really entailed and, due the previous events, was DrivenToSuicide]].
3	* FridgeHorror: The beetles are actually us - adults and all they do is a metaphor of how society is ''turning children into "adults"''.
4	* IAmNotShazam: Though "Toast Boy" is the main character's given name, "Spoilsbury" is never mentioned.
