* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrEcuow_MHQ Probably the best thing about]] [[ThatOneLevel the final level.]]
* DemonicSpiders: Star Dragons. You'll know they're coming when you hear enemy shots coming rapid-fire. Also, they come in groups, so they're hard to avoid.
* DisappointingLastLevel: Suddenly transforms into a poor ripoff of ''VideoGame/{{Gradius}}'' after you assemble the Golden Warpship.
* GoddamnedBats: In certain areas of certain planets, you'll be set upon by a swarm of spherical ships. All of them are manned by kamikaze pilots. ''There is no end to them.'' The mini-fighters can be this also if there's no {{mook maker}} to destroy. Thankfully, using [[CarFu Jetpod-Fu]] on them inflicts no damage to you as long as you have your shields up.
* HilariousInHindsight: A part of the map of Shammy Gen looks like [[VideoGame/{{Minecraft}} the face of a creeper]], as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkYNc6hWkd4 acknowledged]] by LetsPlay/DeceasedCrab [=[08:02]=].
* ThatOneLevel: Miplezur, the final planet, would be this on its own. It has the highest gravity and the second highest diameter of any planet, a water area which reverses that powerful gravity, and a huge and confusing maze at the bottom to reach the ship part. But what really cements this level is the final section when you complete the Golden Warpship: you're thrown into a long ''VideoGame/{{Gradius}}''-style [[UnexpectedShmupLevel shoot-em-up]] with the FinalBoss at the end, and ''you only have one life''. It doesn't matter how many lives you had entering the area. You die once, and it's GameOver. Did we mention it only takes about four hits to kill you?
%% Administrivia/ZeroContextExample * ThatOneBoss: The only boss in the game, and it's at the end of ThatOneLevel.
