2	** Toshiko and Naomi who hated each other and are as different as night and day and end up falling in love with each other.
3	** Mariko and Kaori [[spoiler: end up TogetherInDeath as mermaids]]. However, [[spoiler: Kaori]] is still injured making her a very easy target.
4	** Really what can you expect from a manga whose premise is essentially teenagers murdering someone to MindRape their crush into loving them? Doesn't seem like the [[DoubleStandardRapeSciFi beginning of a]] [[QuestionableConsent healthy relationship.]]
5	* FridgeBrilliance: Hidemi and Nanae's tale reveals an explicit reason the mermaids turn feral (when they sense that a girl's feelings for her crush are already mutual, they attack out of jealousy). Looking back at the other two tales in which they turned feral, it's entirely possible that it was the case then too, as there isn't anything explicitly contradicting it. TheReveal in Yui and Saori's tale even hints that it could've been the case.
6	** FridgeHorror: This makes Misaki and Noriko's case even more creepy in hindsight: Misaki never finds out why the mermaids went feral and attacked her, but considering her target was her middle-aged English teacher Manabe, this implies that Misaki's feelings were always reciprocated, and Manabe was ''already'' a pedophile who would have fallen for her without even needing the spell.
7	* FridgeLogic: Suppose that a girl named Hanako is in love with a boy named Tarou. Tarou had the surname Suzuki until two weeks ago, when his mother divorced and took custody of Tarou. His surname was thus legally changed to his mother's maiden name, Watanabe -- although he's still listed in the school's records as Tarou Suzuki. If Hanako decides to win Tarou's love by eating a mermaid, does she eat a W or S mermaid?
