* CrossesTheLineTwice:
** The [[BlackComedyRape Rape Jar]]. Basically, Laburnum and Foxglove are punished with a jar similar to a SwearJar for using rape as a punishment a few too many times.
** The Wiki's [[https://ppc.fandom.com/wiki/Dubious_Lube Dubious Lube]] page, dedicated to recording concerning things used as lube in fanfiction, up to and including hydrochloric acid.
* DesignatedEvil
** Some bad-fic characters deserve what they get (being murderers for example), whilst others seem to have only committed the crime of being 'too far from canon' or being badly written. Taken entirely in-universe and the PPC can come across as a group that simply kills who they consider undesirable purely for not meeting their own subjective criteria. Ditto any other way that the PPC changes the universe of a fic to be more canon.
* DesignatedHero: When one of the characters has a 'rape jar' and the other characters can only roll their eyes, sigh comedically, and tut, then you're bound to fall into this every so often.
--> At first glance there was nothing odd about this moneybank, until one realised that the big friendly letters on the side read "Rape Jar".
--> "I really do worry about you! One day you could slip up and try that on an actual person!"
* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: See the relevant [[Funny/ProtectorsOfThePlotContinuum page]].
* HesJustHiding: [[spoiler:Makes-Things: "I think I would know if I was dead!"]]
* HilariousInHindsight: In [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V2wvETeNu6p4nrjEQy2aZHWOvly79C2XcAI_qG3tZbE/edit?pli=1 this]] ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}''-based mission, Agent Chris complains about the Sue having a personal computer in her bag that can be used to access the Pokémon storage system. From ''VideoGame/PokemonLetsGoPikachuAndLetsGoEevee'' onward, the player is able to access their PC box from their bag.
* LessDisturbingInContext: A number of things, though they're not necessarily ''much'' less disturbing in context:
** Sometimes, extremely out-of-character behaviour will be explained away as the character having been replaced, which makes stories such as incest stories, etc. less disturbing.
** There are many scenes of agents beating up or appearing to kill canon characters. However, in the case of the former they're exorcising possessed characters, and in the case of the latter, it's actually a replacement.
** In the "How Will I Clean My Fur?" mission, there's a sea of thick, white goop. The narration, however, [[GrossoutFakeout lets us know that it's "a completely fictional liquid and not what it was implied to be".]]
* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: Several, due to the number of known Agents and PPC stories. Some can be found on [[Awesome/ProtectorsOfThePlotContinuum the relevant page]].
* NauseaFuel: Some of the ickier fics, and some of the executions.
* SoBadItsGood or So Bad It's Horrible: The fics which get sporked. SoBadItsGood tends to produce funnier results.
* {{Squick}}:
** Some of the more dreadful fics; it's a charge for a reason.
** Agents are known to throw up on occasion, particularly if something gross happens in the story or there's an abrupt scene jump, but special mention goes to the "Babies, Babies Everywhere" mission where Zeb and the Aviator spend the majority of the mission throwing up because [[TheFoodPoisoningIncident the cafeteria served expired food]].
** The rape jar.
* StrangledByTheRedString:
** Cupid and Stephanie fall in love rather quickly, all things considered - even having known each other for a few hours at best, they're already treated as a couple at the end of [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/12nFPwjpdFbfdkMyBi42BZW72uUii3wUbnRNGkIeeMak/edit the very same mission]] where they first meet. [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E5RF3E-itH_-Zt4DBV-tKClW-KtlFkg0CqO3d5I8kN0/edit Their next mission together]] not only lampshades this by being titled after this very trope, but also deconstructs their relationship somewhat by making their respective flaws - Cupid's HotBlooded-ness and Stephanie's crippling insecurity - into critical obstacles for the two of them to overcome.
** And of course, anytime a Mary Sue or Gary Stu makes a canon fall in love with him or her at first sight - an unfortunately typical charge in far too many badfics to count.
* TearJerker:
** Some of the agent histories are pretty damn depressing. In particular, [[StepfordSmiler Gabrielle]] is a [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter cute fluffy]] [[VideoGame/{{Pokemon}} Flareon]]... who was discarded as useless by a [[StopHavingFunGuys competitive player.]] Her trainer was abusive, insulting her and devaluing her existence until she reached the point where her entire sense of self-worth is based on what others think of her.
*** After the mission where this was first explored in any depth, Gabrielle was tasked with keeping a diary by her therapist. It's presented in a similar manner to [[StepfordSmiler how she speaks]], but we get a vague idea of what she was put through by Tempest. [[WhyDidYouMakeMeHitYou And]] [[TrainingFromHell it]] [[DontMakeMeTakeMyBeltOff is]] ''[[BreakTheCutie harrowing]]''. Though she does get a little HopeSpot at the end.
----> I'm not weak.
----> I'm not.
** The ending to "Little Miss Mary". Basically, when Rina and Zeb are killing the [[Literature/HarryPotter Snape and Harry]] impostors, the Harry impostor shoots fire at Zeb, who disappears, causing Rina to think he's dead. She [[FaintInShock passes out]], cries uncontrollably, and then decides that she can't go back to the way she was without him, so she runs away in a [[Series/DoctorWho TARDIS]], still crying, and decides to go rogue and rename herself "The [[SheIsTheKing Aviator]]".
---> [[spoiler:"Good-bye, Alex. I love you."]]
---> [[spoiler:Alex tried to grab her again, but she ducked inside and the door slid shut behind her. Alex pounded his fists against it. “SABRINA!” he screamed. “DON’T GO! DON’T GO! YOU CAN’T DO THIS! PLEASE! COME BACK!”]]
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: The PPC tend to act like sanctimonious jerks in their defense of canon, especially as their baseline for Sues seems to be "is not immediately murdered by the canon characters for polluting their presence".
* TheWoobie:
** Several agents go past ButtMonkey and into this when their authors get mean. The most recent contender is Cadmar, for the TraumaCongaLine he ([[GenderBender currently she]]) faced in "Dragon Lady". Even the ''Flowers'' took pity on him/her.
** Then there's the [[Literature/NewJediOrder Yuuzhan Vong]] who got ''assimilated by the [[Franchise/StarTrek Borg]]''. Let that sink in a moment.
** Poor, poor [[Anime/PokemonTheSeries Lapis Lazuli]]. Her entire backstory has been one BreakTheCutie moment after another: being overshadowed by her author's [[SelfInsertFic self-insert]] in her homefic, having said homefic be destroyed [[OldShame by her own author]], ending up in the PPC Headquarters completely alone without anyone to console her, making friends with one of the agents who discovered her [[spoiler:only to be powerless to stop him [[DeathByOriginStory being killed while on Duty]]]], becoming an active agent years ahead of time [[spoiler:only to ''[[AnArmAndALeg lose her right hand]]'' to a god-modding Suvian]], being put down despite her ambition to prevent such tragedies from happening again, [[TookALevelInJerkass becoming]] a JerkassWoobie as a result... the list goes on and on. Luckily, she was eventually [[ThrowTheDogABone given a much-needed lucky break]] when she was able to make amends with one of the agents who was at odds with her over the years, and it currently looks as though [[EarnYourHappyEnding things will turn out better for her in the future.]]
