1	* AlternativeCharacterInterpretation: Are Bucky's [[StrawCharacter straw conservative]] statements based on his actual viewpoints? Or is he just expressing them to annoy his liberal roommates?
2	* EnsembleDarkhorse: Mac Manc Mcmanx is a pretty darn cool and [[FunnyForeigner funny]] character. He speaks in all sorts of Brit lingo and apparently squats in Rob's house. It certainly doesn't hurt matters that he's not a JerkAss like Bucky is.

4	** Bucky doctored one of Satchel's ''Literature/WheresWaldo'' books by changing it to ''Where's [[UsefulNotes/OsamaBinLaden Osama]]?''. At the end, a bunch of American troops find him, and presumably kill him, prompting Rob to say "you can't sell this to kids". In 2011...
5	** Bucky running afoul of the "squirrel mafia" is even funnier because of [[https://www.thedodo.com/in-the-wild/pushy-squirrel-forces-nut-seller-to-pay-him-off this true story]] of a squirrel running what can only be described as a protection racket.
6	* JerkassWoobie: Rob is slightly this. His pets seem to be a nuisance (PlayedStraight with Bucky, with his sociopathic behavior), and his property can't get a break, but he can be rude (or, at least at times, [[DisproportionateRetribution such as grounding Bucky for sucking at making a good pun]]) to his pets, too.
7	* MisaimedFandom: PETA fans don't seem to realize that the strip doesn't exactly cheer for the organization.
8	* {{Padding}}: The last few years of the weekday strips tended to draw their jokes out to ridiculous lengths, often to the point where a single subject could last several weeks, having devolved into rephrasing the same punchline as many times as possible. The most egregious example may be a series of strips starting [[http://www.gocomics.com/getfuzzy/2014/03/31 here]] which just sort of stopped eventually without any actual punchline or payoff.

10	** Satchel, who is almost always being abused by Bucky, both verbally and physically.
11	** Bucky's cousin Mac Manc Mcmanx counts. His girlfriend got in a huge fight with him, he got a teacup/plate embedded in his skull, he was detained by airport security and [[MistakenForTerrorist mistaken as a terrorist]], no one can understand his dialect except Bucky and above all, he's an UglyCute. Awww... someone give him a hug already!
