4	* HilariousInHindsight: Creator/YoshitsuguMatsuoka would later become famous for voicing male leads with harems in anime, not unlike Godou in this series. However, the ''Campione!'' anime first aired ''one day prior'' to Matsuoka's eventual StarMakingRole as Kirito in ''Literature/SwordArtOnline''.
5	* HoYay: Godou has suspcious relationships with one of his past baseball buddies to the point where the girls gossip about it. Then there's his relationship with Salvatore. While Godou himself wants nothing to do with Salvatore, Salvatore wants to fight Godou really, really badly. To the point where when Salvatore was talking about there past fight, Liliana misunderstood and thought that the Italian campione was talking about a love affair with Godou.
6	** On the girls side we have Sawa groping Yuri FOR SEVERAL MINUTES and praising her body.
7	* InferredHolocaust: What exactly happens when Salvatore turns modern technology off? Do planes drop from the sky? Do ambulances stop cold? Do pacemakers cease function? Hip or knee implants? Do cars keep their momentum, but lose their engines and brakes? This could get very, very ugly.
8	* StockFootageFailure: As mentioned on the main page, a couple of shots involving Arianna driving her car from episode 1 of the anime was recycled for episode 6. While recolored to match the nighttime palate of the scene, the shots stand out in two ways- The first being [[OffModel the excessive amount of detail in these shots compared to the lack thereof to the scenes surrounding them]], as the first episode had a tendency to overly detail certain characters' body parts, especially with the hands, during closeups. The second being that Arianna shifts into first gear in the original, something that wasn't changed for the latter episode.
9	* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: Understandably, because the anime was limited to one 13 episode season, they couldn't include everything from the light novel. However, Godou's rivalry with Salvatore felt like a complete waste in spite of those limits. When Salvatore made his appearance, he called Godou and mentioned how the two of them had an off-screen battle that the viewer had never even seen up to that point. Then after that, Salvatore proceeds to just [[spoiler: make random appearances to watch battles and do commentary without really doing much. He never even gets to meet Godou in person and the two never have a battle that the audience can actually watch.]] Viewers who watched the anime for the first time without reading the light novels first can only scratch their heads and wonder why Salvatore was even included in the anime when all of his appearances really amounted to nothing.
