* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: ''"Human slaves... in an insect nation! AAAAH-'''AHHHHHH!'''''"
** If he's got any manner of instrument in hand, this probably will ensue.
** A special mention for the note perfect chorus of Gary Numan's "Cars" played on a giant rack of rubber squeeze horns. And singing the whole thing in French.
** [[https://youtu.be/kF1GsAHBzeY?t=180 Bill's birthday song]]. It's dark and depressing, but that's what makes it funny. The lyrics are morbid, but very creative. Also, Bill's singing and acting are fantastic. At least one comment says that it sounds like a Creator/{{Disney}} VillainSong.
%%* Crazy Awesome: Very frequently.
* HilariousInHindsight: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpT0fzz1m4M Lunge Wildly at the Pope]]
** Bill's frustration at the BBC for not playing the entirety of the snooker theme in Cosmic Jam "PLAY THE REST OF THE TRACK! They never play it!" is even more understandable these days with the entire tune being freely available on [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GkgoeKHsXI the web]] - it's a complete instrumental track and it's really very good. Although it never turns into ''Smells Like Teen Spirit''.
** And speaking of the Pope: Bill did his "Pope's Doorbell" skit back when the Catholic Church's resident Emperor Palpatine lookalike champion Benedict XVI was pope, playing off the utter absurdity of the situation. But now that we have Pope Francis, a mellow and by all appearances fun-loving pope, it's actually even funnier because there's something about him that suggests he'd totally be on board.
* MemeticMutation:
** "ROFLYSST", which stands for "rolling on the floor laughing [[FridgeLogic yet somehow still typing]]", a chatspeak expression he thinks the internet needs.
** His description of the Argos catalogue as the "laminated book of dreams". It became so associated with the catalogue that, when Argos announced in July 2020 that they were discontinuing the print version, pretty much ''every single news outlet in the UK'' included the quote in their article about it, often right in the headline.
* NightmareFuel: According to him, ''WesternAnimation/TheMagicRoundabout'''s theme music contains a section of this.
** He also comments on the scariness of the ''Series/{{Mastermind}}'' theme. TruthInTelevision, as the creator of the show based the concept on his experiences of being interrogated by [[ThoseWackyNazis the Gestapo]].
* ThisIsYourPremiseOnDrugs: One of his routines criticised this trope:
-->"TV writers, they often use "acid" as a kind of a shorthand for "wacky". They'll say something like "This sitcom, it'll be like ''Terry And June'' ON ACID! Imagine what that'll be like!" Yeah, I can imagine what that'll be like: that'll be Terry examining the floral pattern on a plate for four days..."
** He also once made the observation that the original theme music to ''Series/TheBill'' was great because it was "subversive"... in that it was a reefer tune disguised as the theme music to a cop show.
** And his own TheyChangedItNowItSucks moment on ''Series/Room101'' for the 'new' reworked Bill theme for being a generic 'pop' tune in 4/4 time when the original was in 7/4 time.
