1	* FridgeBrilliance: The film seems to say that eventually ''all'' [=NorthAm=] robots would achieve sapience; the "accident" with Andrew only accelerated it. Heck, robot "glitches" result in them getting a MindWipe, which means their journey is reset before it can begin. Galatea achieving it is due to her being in a home that definitely wouldn't reset her brain.

3	** Andrew is seen getting a mechanical operation in his chest area (with his human covering on). Ten years later, Creator/RobinWilliams would undergo open heart surgery.
4	** The end of the movie where Andrew [[spoiler:willingly gives up his life to be happy (fulfilling his dreams of being recognized as human, that is)]] becomes a whole lot darker when you take into account Robin Williams' own suicide in 2014 (the day he died, August 11, was also Creator/EmbethDavidtz's birthday). And near the end of the film, seeing Robin Williams [[spoiler:in aging prosthetics makeup]] is a bit odd and unnerving now since he tragically only lived to age 63.
5	** A lot of the lyrics in Music/CelineDion's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYjqojwp2hQ Then You Look at Me]] has also become harsher in hindsight--not only for Robin Williams' suicide, but also for the film's composer Music/JamesHorner's death from a plane crash in June 2015.

The nurse is revealed to be Galatea, who has attained sentience, and in comparison to her earlier personality is barely holding herself together as she allows her to die peacefully]].

21	* UnintentionalPeriodPiece: During his long search for other robots, Andrew is in New York City with the original World Trade Center behind him, apparently taller and with a connecting bridge between the towers.
22	* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: While some debate the overall quality of the film, the robot suit which Robin wears for the first half of the film looks very impressive. Not one part has a seam or opening, and is instead rife with more mechanical details to further sell that this is indeed an android and not just a costume. According to [[https://youtu.be/I_T4SccQckw Adam Savage]] in this video, Robin still had full and easy range of motion within the suit!
