* {{Anvilicious}}:
** "Cubicle". We get it. Corporations and desk jobs are soul-destroying machines of doom that will suck you in, spit you out and leave you as a shell for the rest of your days. Please stop slamming us over the head with it, some of us have to work.
** "Girl Poison" is a song about how young girls are encountering sexuality and losing their innocence at ridiculously young ages because that is what society/the media want, which they shouldn't be forced to. They also yell stuff like "innocence lost" or "sinister girl next door", just in case you hadn't realized that the thing they're comparing to a dying Sleeping Beauty is bad.
* CrazyIsCool: Both of them, but especially [=ZooG=]. His exploits include:
** Calling John Howard (Australia's former PM) a 'complete cunt' in an interview.
** Dyeing his mohawk pink and managing to still carry it off.
** Making a video about Angelspit's contest to find a new videographer that included him killing the old videographer and ending it with 'I need a knife, a fork and an oven built for one. Happy new fucking year!'
** In one interview, he decided he didn't want to just stand still and talk, so he got a trolley used for pulling around equipment, got the interviewer to sit on it and randomly pulled him around while being interviewed.
** ''Combichrist'' raised the possibility of them playing a show or two together. [=ZooG=]'s response was, in essence, 'Fuck that, we'll have a rock duel to the death!' And that's what they did (though nobody died, obviously).
* EnsembleDarkhorse: "Defibrillator", from ''Hello My Name Is''. It's become an insanely popular song, mainly because it manages to combine two genres nobody in their right mind would put together (pop and industrial) and it ''works''.
* HilariousInHindsight: The 'buy me a diamond pony' line from "Defibrillator" became this to all the Angelspit-loving ''VideoGame/{{Borderlands 2}}'' fans out there.
* ItsPopularNowItSucks: "A La Mode, A La Mort" and "Channel Hell" both protest against the appropriation of alternative styles by the mainstream.
* NarmCharm: "Daddy... buy me... a pixel... '''''pony.'''''"
* NightmareFuel: The video for "Vena Cava", the casual references to cannibalism, torture and murder...
** "Elixir" is a TakeThat to the beauty industry. Throughout the song, one can hear screaming at certain points- not [[CarefulWithThatAxe loud]] screaming, but someone screaming in pain. Once one connects this with the lyrics, which reference plastic surgery and painful beauty treatments... yeah.
** "Grind" has elements of this- the lyrics are bloody creepy, and [=DestroyX=]'s voice sounds quite robotic, almost like [[VideoGame/{{Portal}} GLaDOS]] as she sings it.
** The "Vena Cava" video.
** Apparently, the video for "Toxic Girl" will be this. It's been described as a very intense mix of [[{{Gorn}} porn and torture]]. This cannot end well.
*** It didn't. Oh, God, [[http://www.vimeo.com/22019126 it didn't.]]
* SignatureSong: "100%" or "Vena Cava".
* {{Squick}}: ''Hentai rampage???''
