%%* FountainOfMemes: Booker's commentary gives the fans certified gems to quote.
* HilariousInHindsight:
** From being [[Series/Charmed1998 pinned to hell by the Charmed Ones]] to [[Wrestling/{{TNA}} winning the tag team titles for the Main Event Mafia]], Booker T and Wrestling/ScottSteiner's road as a tag team over the years has certainly been…interesting.
** His one night stint as colour commentator Black Snow in TNA was funny as it is, but when WWE made him colour commentator on Smackdown? Hilarious.
** Or possibly HarsherInHindsight depending on your perspective, but the {{Memetic Mutation}}/{{Never Live It Down}} moment below is either much more or less funny after Hogan's own NeverLiveItDown moment in 2015. (Although it should be noted that Booker T was one of the first people that Hulk Hogan apologized to.)
* MemeticMutation: "Wrestling/HulkHogan! We comin' fo' YOU, [[NWordPrivileges nigga!]]" (''Cue self-{{Facepalm}}'')
** "What da hell?!"
** Go on Website/YouTube and go to any video that has the "Booker T/Harlem Heat" theme, each one will have comments that says "Sounds like a Tekken stage theme".
** "You lookin' real jacked, baby!" [[labelnote:Explanation]]During the ''Wrestling/{{Backlash}} 2017'' pre-show panel, Wrestling/ErickRowan approaced the analysts, and Booker tried to calm him down by repeating this phrase.[[/labelnote]]
* NarmCharm: The whole "King Booker" gimmick was almost objectively ''really lame'' -- making a dastardly heel whose whole persona became that of a stereotypical high king with a silly "British" accent sounds like a huge waste of the wrestler's credibility, especially in the year ''2006'' (and later wrestlers who were hooked with the gimmick from Wrestling/{{Sheamus}}, to Wrestling/BaronCorbin, to Wrestling/ShinsukeNakamura proved how damaging it could be), but Booker still managed to pull it off by [[HamAndCheese being the fun kind of ridiculous pomposity]], with enough hilarious lines and charisma (as well as [[AsskickingLeadsToLeadership genuine world-title accolades that prove that he's still a badass]]) that it becomes a fondly-regarded era for the man.
* NeverLiveItDown: See MemeticMutation. He's had plenty of other lines. To paraphrase independent wrestler Afroman/Grizzled Youth
-->"When I used to hear Booker T I thought five time champion, bookend, spinaroonie, scissor kick. But thanks to youtube..."
* SoBadItsGood: Booker T on commentary is either this or just bad. Either way, there is no way to honestly say he's a good commentator, but can be entertaining.
* SpiritualSuccessor: While the Pro Wrestling Alliance school was founded by Booker T to make sure more pro wrestlers were properly trained, the shows they put on were supposed to call back to Paul Boesch's Houston Wrestling, a promotion from the 1920-1980s.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: This is the guy '''[=Linda McMahon herself=]''' personally walked up to backstage at his first WWF show, smiling, to tell him face to face "after all these years, we finally have you". And he loses the blowoff in a feud (which the babyfaces hardly ever lose). He never completely came back from that despite winning the world title some years later. People view HHH as a mellower version of Vince, but some of his decisions should frighten you.
