* BrokenBase:
** The lack of [[ComicBook/TheFlash Wally West]] has fans feeling as if DC has a [[ScrewedByTheNetwork personal grudge against the character]]. It's noted that the current iteration of Wally West is 12 years old, making it difficult to incorporate him as part of a team of adults in the early 20s. Some point out that the grave on the first cover most likely refers to Wally. ([[spoiler: It doesn't.]]) This has further divided the fanbase between those who at least appreciate the mere acknowledgement of Wally, and those who are pissed that DC's sidelining Wally in the story that could have "fixed" him. [[spoiler:The original Wally West, deaged to his late teens/early 20's returns in DC Universe Rebirth #1, and will be joining the older Titans team]].
** Roy falling off the wagon has many fans of ''ComicBook/RedHoodArsenal'' demanding to know where Jason is during all this. Those who loathe that series, however, are thoroughly enjoying that Jason's not involved after spending four years and going being Roy's ''only'' consistent friend.
* CharacterRerailment: Donna Troy and Roy Harper, who have been derailed in their own books (ComicBook/WonderWoman and ComicBook/RedHoodAndTheOutlaws, respectively), with the former being [[AdaptationalVillainy an evil misandrist]] and the latter being an immature AdultChild who repeatedly makes [[{{Flanderization}} bad jokes]]. By the time the [[ComicBook/DCRebirth Rebirth]] series happens, both characters are far more stable and likeable.
* ItWasHisSled: Because of how closely ''Titans Hunt'' connects to ''[[ComicBook/DCRebirth DC Universe: Rebirth #1]]'' and how promotion for the following ''Titans'' ongoing requires this story and the special to be read prior to its first issue, the identity of the forgotten tenth Titan is pretty much a given for any latecomers picking up this series.
* HarsherInHindsight: Despite the run being dead-set on "remembering the forgotten (Silver Age) Titan", it erroneously leaves out...
** Duela Dent, who died during ''ComicBook/CountdownToFinalCrisis'' and has a counterpart in the New 52 with immense amounts of AdaptationalBackstoryChange.
** Bette Kane, despite being mentioned as a former member of the Teen Titans in ''ComicBook/{{Batwoman}}''.
** Charley Parker, who hasn't been seen since Rann-Thanagar War and ''Countdown To Adventure''
** Tula despite being revived in ''ComicBook/Aquaman2011''
