1	* {{Adorkable}}: Mal. Sure he's a little pervy, but he's quiet and shy, especially when compared to his more rambunctious peers (he makes JO look like [[WebVideo/TheAngryJoeShow Angry Joe]]).
2	* BaseBreakingCharacter: Hitch is either a fairly good reviewer or the worst thing to come to the site to most.
3	* EnsembleDarkhorse: Rabbit's brief appearance on Pocky Spot has been met with requests to give her more to do on it.
4	** Before her was WebVideo/JesuOtaku, due to the fact that he's the most successful of them (reviewing on D2, Website/YouTube, Website/ChannelAwesome, & ANN to name a few).
5	** Miku. Not unexpected given her real life celebrity status in Japan and on the web, but apparently a HUGE amount of fans wanted her back.
6	* HarsherInHindsight: The jokes about JO's busy schedule and Vixen wanting to leave/kill the Brigade get hard to laugh at after the disbandment.
7	** The Ex-Brigadiers' decision to keep the site alive past its expiration as "proof of the Brigade's existence and what they did all those years" feels like a [[ShootTheShaggyDog moot point]] now that Blip has decided to remove pretty much every old thing made by their producers. This has led to the untimely deaths of "Pocky Spot" and "[=DesuRattle=]", two of the most loved segments from the Brigade.
8	*** As of 2017: The site itself is gone, blip is gone taking most of their stuff with it, Professor and Arkada never mention the Brigade, and Vixen and JO actively tell fans not to reupload videos. Pretty much the only evidence the Brigade ever existed is this Website/TVTropes page.
9	*** Worth noting that the crew are still friends, and Ark and Prof are often seen together at conventions.
10	* HilariousInHindsight: To quote the then-female identifying [=JesuOtaku=] in the very first [=DesuRattle=]: "I'll probably sound like a man when I'm in my thirties..." Well, now we should probably ''hope'' you will JO, seeing as you ''are'' a man.
11	* HoYay: Dear God, Vixen and Rabbit. The ''Issho Ni'' review had them naked in the bath together[[note]]Although at the end of the video, they were shown getting out of the bath ''with clothes on''. They just put down their tops down a bit to make the illusion that they were naked.[[/note]], and ''La Blue Girl'' had Vixen addressing Rabbit as "hon". It doesn't help that they live together. In the ''Manga/MaidSama'' review, Vix actually ''does'' call Rabbit a lesbian due to their objective views on Takumi (well, that, and the fact that Rabbit actually is gay [[http://takealefthere.blogspot.com/2011/03/said-banshee.html]]).
12	* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: While Vixen did this on purpose, later "updates" to Blip have led to Prof's "The Red Scorpion" and "[=DesuRattle=]" being removed from the site (although [=DesuRattle=] is archived and easily accessible through [[https://archive.org/details/DesuRattle an audio download site]]). "Pocky Spot" also vanished entirely, with only [[https://vimeo.com/13749584 episode twenty]] still surviving on Platform/{{Vimeo}}.
13	** blip is now gone completely. Most of their stuff, if not all, from the D2B era, is gone.
14	** JO retired from video making in 2014, and though initially approving of reuploads, has now asked people to take them down as some [=YouTubers=] are targeting certain Channel Awesome associates and he feels that may hurt his current employment.
15	** Oddly enough, both episodes of Malakye's short lived "Sake Shots" reviews are still available on Youtube.
16	* MoralEventHorizon: Hitch lending Vixen ''Sailor And The 7 Ballz'' is being treated as one (at least in the comments).

18	* NightmareFuel: Hitch's ACEN Introduction: "YOU ARE GONNA FUCKING ''LOVE ME''!"
19	** Ark's expression when he says "Nuke" at the end of Hitch's review of ''Anime/PrincessTutu''.
20	** Vixen's hysterical laughter and Steven's furious ranting at the end of their review of ''New Moon''. They look like they're five seconds away from a permanent mental breakdown.
21	* TearJerker: All of the goodbye videos.
22	** Arkada's and Vixen's in particular.
23	** Prof revealing that he "loved working with the Brigade". No sarcasm. No jokes. No tears even. He just cheerfully and calmly states that he loved working with these guys. Just goes to show that [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold under that gruff, exasperated exterior, the man really does care]].
24	** JO's was probably the most heartbreaking of all of them because that was the moment when it became very, very clear that he had just... moved on.
25	** For the fanbase, the fact that just about everything from the brigade has been lost to the aether.
