* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Legolas' own rape by orcs, and Laura's never-used "power" are both mentioned exactly once, and never brought up again. Laura's power that can "distroy us all the bad guys" doesn't even distroy us all the bad guys. Frodo telling Sauron that the Ring was destroyed was what distroyed us all the bad guys.
* CrossesTheLineTwice: Legolas saving Laura. A ten-year-old being beaten up and raped and poisoned by Sauron? Horrifying. Legolas ruining the moment with a chipper "When I was your age, they did the same thing to me!"? Hysterical!
* FridgeLogic: Sauron specifically orders his minions not to kill Laura. Which raises the question: if he wanted to keep her alive, then why did he poison her?
* MemeticMolester: Canon Legolas may not be one, but this fanfic's version... hoo boy. From the implications of WifeHusbandry to him being cheerful as can be when confessing his raping and poisoning by the orcs...
%%* SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome: The DramaticReading by Tropers/ManWithoutABody.
* Narm: The fic tries so hard to be dramatic, but it just makes it all sound that much dumber. Case in point, Legolas confesses to having been raped and poisoned by the orcs when he was Laura's age. It comes out of nowhere, is never brought up again, and is more often than not one of the most unintentionally-hilarious lines in the entire story.
* NightmareRetardant: Normally, anything involving a ten year old getting raped by orcs would be downright horrifying, yet, considering the blunt and uninteresting way in which it's written, it just Narm can't be taken seriously.
* Squick: A 10 year old being raped by Orcs? A 10 year old who is most likely an AuthorAvatar?
