* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: The game has some bombastic orchestral[=/=]rock scores handled by Music/TommyTallarico and Todd Dennis, the most memorable among them that got used for future titles like ''VideoGame/Wild9'' includes "Facing The Inevitable", "Grenich Time", and "Vengeful Alien".
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Surely there must be a reason that the GainaxEnding in question [[spoiler:is a French musician performing a cover of a song that protests the ''Vietnam war'']].

** Some levels are genuinely disturbing, but Level 3 takes the cake here.
** Grunts, robots... enemies in general.
** Any time you have to face the tanks.
* PortingDisaster: Some releases, such as the Platform/{{Playstation}} and Platform/{{Steam}} versions, removed the GainaxEnding. Thankfully a [[http://steamcommunity.com/app/38450/discussions/0/864973123467667345/ fan patch for the Steam version]] exists which adds in all the fixes of the GOG release, including re-adding the GainaxEnding.
