5	Born in Dorado on Borinquen and hailing from Caimito, San Juan, Nilka García Solís (born November 14, 1981) swam at the Puerto Rican Naval base, performed at PR & El Show del Medio Dia as a dancer, got roles on El Casco de San Juan and El Show de Sunshine Logroño as an actress, appeared in music videos for companies like Saavedra Productions, served as a trainer for Body Fit Concept on Canal 7 Tele Isla and The Spot in West Park Florida, and established Labusadora Training Center back in Puerto Rico. She fought as a boxer for two years before training for UsefulNotes/MixedMartialArts and ProfessionalWrestling with El Profe, Ricky Santana, Tommy Diablo and Carlos Colón.

7	As far as professional wrestling goes, she also got training from Pablo Márquez and debuted in 2003 as Black Rose, managing clientele ranging from Street Fugitives to the affluent Huracan Castillo Jr in WWC, New Revolution Wrestling Lucha Libre and other organizations that became tied to the World Wrestling League. She also wrestled in the Puerto Rican half of the International Wrestling Association and captured WWC's women's title four times.

9	La Rosa Negra later wrestled in the continental USA for then Wrestling/{{N\|ationalWrestlingAlliance}}WA member Ring Warriors, where she was the first to hold their Battling Bombshells Title and represented them with it in various Canadian, Dominican and Bolivian promotions. She also won the Pro Wrestling Syndicate Bombshells title and later became the first holder of the PWS Bombshells Majestic title. She's also worked with Florida boxer Noemi Bosques in SHINE and FUW, fought in Mexico's LLF, been through several Japanese promotions, winning the High Speed Championship belt at Wrestling/WorldWonderRingSTARDOM, the CWS Women's belt back in Puerto Rico, then the Mission Pro Wrestling title belt and Magic City Wrestling Women's Title belt in the States.

To be fair to Ring Warriors in this instance, their first show was the same month La Rosa came to the continental US. However, when La Rosa continued to not get booked and Ring Warriors did not include her on the bracket to become the first Battling Bombshells Champion, La Rosa [[NoFourthWall crashed]] the first Ring Warriors Bahamas show in Nassau and challenged the winner of the first round match between Santana Garrett and Sienna Duvall. Ring Warriors gave Negra an [[GimmickMatches empty arena]] exhibition match with Duvall, and after she won scrapped the entire tournament and decided the first champion in a three way dance between Duvall, Negra and Wrestling/SuYung. Naturally she was advertised ''and'' booked as champion.
15	* AfroAsskicker: During her CWS Women's title reign she let her hair curl until it was a fro after being burnt again put her off her hair iron. She regained her heat tolerance after a few months, but came to prefer the fro and needs business incentive to straighten it again.

She got up and attempted to walk out of the arena with her Battling Bombshells belt several times, managing to get beyond the curtain before referee Frankie Gastineau came to her aid. Then there was ''STARDOM Appeal The Heart #2'' where catching Datura in midair appeared to break Rosa's knee but she came back from a suplex to finish Datura with a death valley bomb and frog splash on one leg. Then at the hospital it was revealed both knees were broken, Rosa had just stood, jumped and hoisted up her opponent on one of them anyway!
37	* DoWithHimAsYouWill: Her loss of the Battling Bombshell's title was recognized even after referee Bruce Ownens admitted to missing Sienna Duvall grabbing La Rosa Negra's tights during the pin. Then FOW's crowd cheered her on as she threatened to punch out referee Fernando Jiminez after Sienna Duvall hit Rosa with a chair and he would not allow Rosa to strike back with it. Turned out there was some confusion, as it wasn't illegal to use chairs in FOW, who hosted the event, but was in Ring Warriors who the title belonged to. So Ring Warriors put the two in a street fight on a Bahamas show.
38	* EloquentInMyNativeTongue: She and contemporary WWC migrants to the 50 States were teased for their limited grasp of English as they tried to establish themselves. While La Morena and La Amazona [[InsultBackfire could effectively shut this down]], it was practically a {{running gag}} among La Rosa Negra's opponents, even fellow Puerto Rican Niya Barela.

PWS crowds finding Sakai funny was the difference. However their most climactic encounter was the finals of Valkyrie's International Joshi Grand Prix, which lacked the dynamic and Sakai then became good friends with La Rosa in Oedo~tai.
45	** She and Wrestling/AmazingKong were temporarily setup as such to the Backseat Girlz. Annie Social being another small[[PintSizedPowerhouse ish]] wrestler just as well known for managerial duty and The Amazing one was called into PWS specifically to keep Missy Sampson away from La Rosa Negra.
46	* FacePalm: A double palmed one during a March 2013 tag match, which was more out of anguish than annoyance or frustration, after [[RickyMorton a worn down Sweet Nancy]] tried to roll away from a top turnbuckle splash from Leandra but got hit anyway.
47	* FanserviceModel: Early in her career this was her main role in the [[ForeignFanservice tradition]] of WWC's Dominican valets, even though she was just a Puerto Rican valeting for a Dominican man. She's never completely moved past it either, still doing shoots for companies like Contralona PR.

Still KAORU first met La Rosa as a teammate in spite of her affiliations. When they inevitably had matches against each other, Rosa could never do better than a draw, and voiced frustration with KAORU [[GarbageWrestler always hitting her with foreign objects]]. KAORU responded [[AffablyEvil by inviting La Rosa out to dinner]]. La Rosa accepted, deciding to leave their differences in the ring.
53	* FriendshipMoment: When La Rosa Negra challenged for the High Speed Title, her and Star Fire's attempt [[LetsFightLikeGentlemen to keep their match clean]] immediately broke down. But when Star Fire twisted her knee while countering an inverted face lock, La Rosa Negra was hesitant to continue the match and though she ultimately finished the severely slowed Star Fire, La Rosa carried her to the locker room once the bell rang.
54	* FunnyBackgroundEvent: During her title defenses against Santana Garrett, La Rora Negra's manager Rihanna Alli could be seen arguing with or chasing Fabulous Frank, at one point pacing back and forth with Rosa Negra's Battling Bombshells belt as if she was the champion. She expressed affection for Japan the moment she arrived for World Wonder Ring STARDOM from LLF. At the same time there were several aspects of the culture she bulldozed through, such as when she encountered sushi and {{com\|icallymissingthepoint}}pletely missed the point, storing it to cook later as a fish salad.
57	** Her role in Marvelous. During La Rosa's debut match Roni Nicole had the audience laughing at Rosa's expense but Rosa decided to roll with it while she beat Nicole. {{Defied\|Trope}} in [=SEAdLINNNG=], where she was laughed at while losing to Arisa Nakajima and wanted to hurt Nakajima to save face.
58	* GimmickMatches: To name a few, Black Rose beat [[Wrestling/IvelisseVelez Sexy Juliette]] in an NWS [[MudWrestling mud pool]] match and then had to wrestle José Chaparro right after it. NWS also gave her a hardcore rules match with Demonique, IWA gave her one with Amazona, along with a Lumberjack match. WWC gave her a steel cage match with Génesis and a broom match with La Bella Carmen. U Know Pro gave her a triple threat steel cage with Didi Cruz and Angel Rose.
59	* GirlishPigtails: Sometimes wrestled with them in NWS, WWC and STARDOM. She wore braided pigtails while refereeing Tom Danniels vs Amazona at NRW Lucha Libre.

However, a year in Mission Pro Wrestling and some prodding from [[Wrestling/CarleneMoore Jazz]] relaxed La Rosa with Holidead enough to recreate a scene from ''WesternAnimation/LadyAndTheTramp'' with a cheese stick following FEW's ''Say It Loud: All Black Everything''.

Black Rose and La Morena almost immediately stripped Ross and spent most of the match beating her up before Black Rose finally stripped Morena.

It took being burnt from shoulder to calf trying to stop a house fire to keep her out of matches, with Oedo~tai stablemates Wrestling/{{Holidead}} and Thunder Rosa fighting in her stead until new skin grew and the swelling went down.
71	* IgnoredEnemy: NRW Lucha Libre Champion Queen Adonis took exception to La Amazona and Black Rose ignoring him to fight each other. They eventually did grant his wish and fight him though.

Black Rose was clear she did not want to be facing groups like LRF and Jazmin Allure's gang alone, but opted to do just that when they came for her rather than flee, even after LRF had left her laying once.
