A animated series that started in 2012 on Creator/Nicktoons Network. This series describes the life and adventures of Lil' Rob and his group in skate boarding. The series was created by Rob Dyrdek, a professional skate boarder.

!!Tropes Describing Wild Grinders:

* AbusiveParents: Mr. Hucksterball to his son Stubford. He makes no secret of the fact he can't even remember his son's name (or the word "son" for that matter). In one episode, he goes camping with his son "remotely" by giving him a laptop to connect with.
* AllGirlsLikePonies: Li'l Rob's sister was mentioned in "Squatch Grinder" to have an obsession with unicorns.
* AnimateInanimateObject: Skateboards and other wheeled vehicles in "A Board Story".
* AuthorAvatar: Lil' Rob, if it wasn't obvious.
* BuffySpeak: How Chip Fliggington describes Lil' Rob's trick in the beginning of Close-Up.
%%* ButtMonkey: Jack Knife
* CastingGag: Emo Crys was voiced by Creator/YuriLowenthal in the pilot, most likely a reference to his role as Sasuke in Manga/Naruto who is often considered THE EmoTeen by much of the fandom. However, this only lasted for the pilot and was voiced by Creator/CamClarke for the rest of the series.
%%* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Mr. Hucksterball.
* CrossdressingVoices: Stubford is voiced by Erin Fitzgerald.
%%* EmoTeen: Emo Crys
* Expy: Lil' Rob's sister is very similar to Candace.
** Stubford is basically an (even more) unlikeable version of Bling-Bling Boy
** Captain Grindstar is a superhero with a very Superman-esque backstory (though his home planet didn't end up exploding because of bad math).
%%* FatBastard: Stubford
%%* HatesBeingTouched: Jay Jay.
* IdenticalStranger: Prince Xavier to Jack Knife.
%%* Jerkass: Stubford
%%* TheLoad: Stubford
%%* McNinja: Spitball
%%* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Jack Knife
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname:
** Most of the characters, though this is averted with Lil' Rob -- his parents refer to him by his real name.
** Lackowski's is usually done in running gag, correcting Stubford it was Lackowski, not Lackey. (and Lil' Rob in "Shark Attack").
* PunnyName: Emo Crys (pronounced like "Chris").
%%* RichBitch: Stubford
* TheRival:
** Stubford likes to think of himself as this.
** Flips considers herself Lil' Rob's rival was well, though she's not much of a challenge for him.
* RuleOfCool: Any and all of the stunts the main cast attempt.
* SeriousBusiness:
** Skateboarding, for the Grinders.
** Glass unicorns, apparently. Each one is handcrafted, has a backstory and is treated as if it were very much alive. Emo Crys is an expert on the subject.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Both Prince Xavier and Stubford.
* TakeThat: "Close-Up" was a pretty big jab at Reality TV.
%%* TalkingAnimal: Meaty.
* UnwillinglyGirlyTomboy: In Call of the Wild Grinders Flips is forced to wear a princess dress and gets angry when Rob was about to make a joke about her wearing one.
* VisualPun: In Sell-Out, Jack, (ButtMonkey) drew a monkey on his butt.
--> Jack Knife: Look! I made a butt monkey!
