However, in their last confrontation over go-to DamselInDistress Roxanne Ritchi (Creator/TinaFey), Megamind finally ([[TheGoodGuysAlwaysWin and surprisingly]]) manages to defeat his ArchNemesis.

With the help of his loyal Minion (Creator/DavidCross), Megamind decides to create a new hero to make his status meaningful. He accidentally shoots Roxanne's awkward cameraman Hal Stewart (Creator/JonahHill) with the serum and trains him to become a new hero called Titan. Unfortunately, "[[FunWithHomophones Tighten]]", instead of using his powers for good, sets out for mass destruction, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life.
