An original animated short released on a DVD packed as a bonus with some of Fisher-Price's Imaginext DC Super Friends toys.

When the DC Super Friends renovate the Hall of Justice, ComicBook/TheJoker infiltrates it and takes over, leaving Franchise/{{Superman}} and Franchise/{{Batman}} trapped inside a holographic training program. The four remaining DC Superfriends, ComicBook/TheFlash, Franchise/GreenLantern, ComicBook/{{Hawkman}} and [[ComicBook/TeenTitans Cyborg]], must find a way to rescue the World's Finest, but Joker has called on Gorilla Grodd and Mr. Freeze for backup.

For a 17-minute short aimed primarily at ages 3 to 7, it is surprisingly entertaining, featuring plenty of action, quirky characters and good humor. It wonderfully apes the classic ''WesternAnimation/{{Superfriends}}'' cartoon and has found its fair share of enthusiasts in the adult fandom.

It can be viewed on Fisher-Price's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDSj5ZvlbuU official YouTube channel]].

!!This short provides examples of:
* AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs: Joker takes over the Hall of Justice with help from Gorilla Grodd and Mr. Freeze.
* ArmCannon: Cyborg has one on each arm.
* BackToBackBadasses: Batman and Superman.
* BashBrothers: Again, Batman and Superman!
* BigNo: Green Lantern lets one out when Mr. Freeze leaves him trapped inside a yellow smiley-face bomb.
* CrazyPrepared: Near the end of the cartoon, it turns out The Joker [[spoiler: had a mech ready that had weapons designed to take out each hero by targeting their specific weaknesses. They beat him by helping each other out and working as a team.]]
* DeadlyTrainingArea: Batman and Superman are locked in one.
* FreezeFrameBonus:
** Hawkman flies by a billboard on which ComicBook/BoosterGold is advertising a breakfast cereal.
** Blink and you'll miss it SweetieGraffiti, with [[FoeYayShipping Joker's and Batman's names]]. [[invoked]]
* GenreSavvy: The Flash can tell those big presents in the hallway are a trap. Not that it does him any good.
* HardLight: The holographic training simulator in the Hall of Justice runs on this. Joker makes sure to trap Batman and Superman in it and have them fight "holograms" of Solomon Grundy and some mud monsters.
* HumongousMecha: The Joker has one.
* [[SirNotAppearingInThisTrailer Lady Not Appearing in This Short]]: Franchise/WonderWoman. Along with Sirs ComicBook/{{Aquaman}} and ComicBook/{{Robin}}.
* LamePunReaction: [[spoiler:After trapping Grodd in some super-sticky bubble gum, Hawkman tells him to "stick around". Flash promptly tells Hawkman to let ''him'' [Flash] tell the jokes from here on out.]]
* LargeHam: Both the narrator and Hal Jordan.
* MerchandiseDriven: Surprisingly averted, aside from some Imaginext and Hero World vehicles showing up in the motor pool... the episode prominently features {{toyless toyline character}}s such as Cyborg, Solomon Grundy and Gorilla Grodd, as well as locations and vehicles that don't have toys, like the Hall of Justice (the only playsets in the toyline are Batcaves) and Joker's big mecha. [[note]]Cyborg, Grundy, Grodd and others would be added to the toyline many years down the line.[[/note]]
* TheMostDangerousVideoGame: Joker turns Cyborg's room into a live video game, complete with video game sound effects.
* {{Narrator}}: The video has one, aping the classic ''Superfriends'' narrator perfectly.
--> "Gathered together from the cosmic reaches of the universe! Are the most powerful forces of good ever assembled! Superman! Wonder Woman! Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder! Aquaman! The Flash! Battling the world's most sinister force for evil, the Legion of Doom! This is... The DC Superfriends!"
* ParentalBonus: Since this is intended for young children, the sheer number of shout-outs to ''Superfriends'' and the DC universe in general all qualify.
* ShoutOut:
** The intro is basically a remake of the classic ''Superfriends'' one.
** Cyborg's feet as he [[RoofHopping jumps from building to building]] bring to mind ''WesternAnimation/InspectorGadget''.
** The Joker's jack-in-the-box robots use hammers based on Joker's old Super Powers toy's accessory.
* TheStoic: Hal Jordan is a WesternAnimation/DudleyDoRight–sounding cardboard dullard in this one. It works magnificently.
* SwissArmyAppendage: Cyborg is practically the superhero version of Inspector Gadget in this department! He has extending legs and arm cannons, the cyborg part of his head can turn into a radar dish, and when he gets electrocuted, tons of other trinkets pop out of him.
* WorfHadTheFlu: Superman's massive powers are kept in check thanks to the Joker lining the walls with kryptonite.
