8	* AccidentalGoodOutcome: In "Pumpkin Trouble", Garfield plants a pumpkin seed and becomes bored as he waits for it to grow. Odie passes by just then and [[UrineTrouble pees on it]], thus causing it to sprout into the size of a beanstalk.
9	* AnimatedAdaptation: The third animated series based on the ''Garfield'' comic strip after ''WesternAnimation/GarfieldAndFriends'' and ''WesternAnimation/TheGarfieldShow''.
10	* BehindTheBlack: The fourth episode has Nermal attempt to wake up a sleeping Garfield, who turns out to be a cardboard cut-out propped up by the real Garfield.

19	* ThatPoorCat: Heard in the eleventh episode after Garfield runs after Nermal.
20	* WingedSoulFliesOffAtDeath: The seventeenth episode has a spider die and its spirit rise to the skies with wings and a harp.
