However, rather than characters and locations taken from those games, its cast and set are from ''VideoGame/HalfLife2'', created with ''VideoGame/GarrysMod''.

3	Set in and around the eponymous City 17, it follows the adventures of a man named Othias Matthew, who has just moved in with an older friend of his. Within [[ComicBookTime a short period of time]], he meets a number of other characters ranging from serious to quirky, before heading out to the city proper and beginning the story.
