! The Chronicles of Vocaloid Randomness includes examples of:
* BigWhat: Meiko does this a lot.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Miku shows signs of being one of these.
* BrickJoke: In the episode "Jobs", Kaito suffers a concussion from one of the Tuna Fighters' tuna cans. In the later episode "Books", he mentions how much of a beautiful "concussion free day" it is, right before getting hit in the head with a book.
* ButtMonkey: Poor Meiko.
* CallBack: Rin and Len's oven roasted spider monkey from the episode "Holidays" can be seen at Luka's camp in the sky in "Summer".
** Similarly, Miku's flying walrus from the very first episode can be seen in The Return Part 1. It has apparently been married to Kaito for ''17 years.''
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: Rin and Len weren't evil in their first appearance.
* CreepyTwins: Rin and Len fit this trope very well. They often talk about performing biological experiments and Meiko implies in one episode that they might even be pyromaniacs. They even have a family tradition of eating "oven roasted spider monkey" every Thanksgiving.
* TheDitz: Kaito and Luka.
* FictionalHoliday: Luka has created a holiday called Tunafest which takes place every day to worship tuna.
* MadScientist: Rin and Len. In one episode, they complain about how they can't perform illegal experiments on Kaito.
* OneWordTitle: The series uses this form of thematic naming for its episodes.
* OnlySaneWoman: Meiko is the only member of the cast who isn't totally crazy.
* ParodyCommercial: They do this a lot. Miku's Vegetable Juice, a novel Luka wrote about tuna, an app where you can show your lack of interest in something, etc.
* SelfDemonstratingSong: The song that plays during the montage with Kaito and his ice cream girlfriend.
** "This is a generic song about summer..."
* SimpletonVoice: Kaito has one.
* SongParody: In "This is Your Brain on Tuna", Luka sings a parody of [[Music/RickAstley Never Gonna Give You Up]] about her favorite fish.
** There is also "The Twelve Days of Vocaloid Christmas".
* TheEnd: Every episode closes with an end card, the only exceptions being The Return parts 1 and 2.
* ToBeContinued: The Return parts 1 and 2 end with such a screen.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Kaito has a severe ice cream obsession to the point that he marries an ice pop and has an ice cream cone as a girlfriend. Luka, however, takes this trope even more up to eleven than Kaito does with her obsession with tuna. She has written a novel about it, has created a holiday dedicated to it, and even sings about it. The Tunafest skit even implies she might ''worship'' it.
