[[https://www.youtube.com/c/BosnianApeSociety Bosnian Ape Society]] is a WebSite/YouTube channel focused mainly on SurrealHumor. While there are a few videos involving live-action footage, most of the channel's content involves rendered CGI, and mostly (and most famously) involves the use of military hardware in incredibly improbable situations for equally improbable purposes.

!! Bosnian Ape Society provides examples of:
* AttackOfTheKillerWhatever: Several of the videos warn viewers about sentient and evil main battle tanks, aircraft and mailboxes who will shoot their computer and steal their bicycle when they least expect it.
* AwesomeButImpractical: There are a few drawbacks and practical limitations to mounting a massive CIWS gatling gun turret on your car, like being unable to drive it under bridges or to park it in your garage.
* BaitAndSwitchComment: The narrator of "Can a Modern Main Battle Tank Defend Against a Baguette?" comes up with the solution of shooting a tank with a HESH explosive but admits few people would have that just lying around. So then he instructs the viewer to build one with the components they ''do'' have lying around and use a baguette as an improvised shell before shooting it out of a cannon they happen to have in their basement.
* BehindTheBlack: "Is Your Car Safe From Supermaneuverable Air-Defense Fighter Aircraft?" begins with driving lessons about how to navigate a roundabout, after which the narrator reveals there was a predatory aircraft observing the situation just off-screen the whole time.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Turning a shopping cart into a turret with anti-rocket measures unfortunately makes it impractical for manual propulsion, so the obvious solution is to jam an engine into it.
* TheComicallySerious: The SyntheticVoiceActor narrators in the videos never drop their serious attitude no matter what kind of nonsense is being described.
* DeathGlare: "Uh, Pass the Remote Please" involves a Sphere watching the English Channel when a Cone asks for the remote and transforms the UK into a second France. The video ends with the Sphere slowly turning towards the cone while shifted into an expression of rage.
* DisproportionateRetribution: In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sacmRlH4OIQ British Person Simulator]] a ''butter knife'' is considered an ''unregistered weapon of mass destruction''. Picking it up is a ''capital offense'', plus a twenty pound sterling fine.
* EldritchAbomination: Played for laughs with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKyPtnuh8bM the Computer Toucher]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMABQtw0smI The Shredded Cheese Man]], though one is much more genuinely threatening than the other. The Computer Toucher literally just touches your computers and leaves, explicitly stating that he won't touch anything else or alter the computer in any way. The Shredded Cheese man, however, will tempt potential victims into their refrigerators with the promise of giving them shredded cheese and then traps them in what looks like WebOriginal/TheBackrooms when he succeeds... [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking And also commits tax fraud if you look away from the refrigerator.]]
* EpicFail: A bike equipped with state-of-the-art surveillance devices is just snatched away by a van. A heavily armed shopping cart causes the owner to be fined before it can even be tested against arsonist attacks. A baguette HESH bomb does ''not'' stick to a Leclerc tank no matter how French it is.
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWSJpipO52g Normal water]]" is a view of a lake. Nothing unusual happens because the water is normal.
* GoneHorriblyRight: "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9GVH2dkH2k How to Defend Against Home Invasion Using Sweet Baby Ray's]]" ends with the viewer eradicating an invasion of evil beans by transforming into a living beam of nuclear hellfire.
* NoKillLikeOverkill: Considering the channel's habit of involving military hardware in mundane situations, this is inevitable. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2xNlzsnPCQ The Tennison Gambit Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Variation]] in particular involves using a intercontinental ballistic missile to ''win a chess game''.
* NoSell: "Can a Modern Main Battle Tank Defend Against a Baguette?" Why yes, ''[[EpicFail it doesn't even need to]]''.
* NonIndicativeName: Nothing in the channel's content is connected to Bosnia or apes in any meaningful fashion.
* NothingIsScarier:
** A few videos on the channel simply show a peaceful real-life landscape with no people for a few minutes, but "You are in a field" is given a ominous description:
--->''"You are in a field somewhere. You hear the sounds. They are here."''
** "The Computer Toucher" is a declaration by an unseen entity who'll visit you in order to do just that, with vague threats that both you ''and'' him will "scream" if you dare look at him or interfere with him in any way.
* OrwellianRetcon: Several videos in the channel were either deleted or replaced with a revised version. The "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83amztBl9Qk Enzo Ferrariā€™s Who Asked Radar]]" video originally ended with the narrator triumphantly describing how the radar can help the viewer win any discussion. It was [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmvfURy04qs replaced with a version]] where the voice of Henry Ford hijacks the narrator to proclaim that "nobody asked", and then this version of the story was deleted from the channel as well.
* ProtagonistJourneyToVillain: "The Shredded Cheese Man" has the protagonist [[SentIntoHiding live in hiding]] to avoid the Shredded Cheese Man, hopping from one location to another so as not to be found. However they begin to enjoy the freedom and independence this life grants them and seek to lure other people into this life by using the Shredded Cheese Man's methods. The video ends with "you are now the Shredded Cheese Man"
* ShoutOut: "How to Prevent Bike Theft Using Electronic Warfare Countermeasures" mentions modern bicycle thieves won't just lockpick your bike while mumbling "click out of one, click out of two...", in reference to WebVideo/LockPickingLawyer.
* SophisticatedAsHell: Part of the series' humor comes from the very technical language used to describe comical situations in a serious way, with a few sarcastic comments tossed in at times.
-->''"Most modern iterations of long-rod APFSDS rounds use a kinetic energy penetrator rod made of depleted uranium and can penetrate over seven hundred milimeters of rolled homogeneous armor, or even tandem-charge anti-tank guided missiles, which detonate in two stages and can penetrate more than one thousand. Almost enough to get something through your thick skull."''
* SuperPersistentPredator: The Shredded Cheese Man chases its target everywhere while driving a really sick 1988 Nissan 2000 Skyline GTS-R.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Many of the videos instruct the viewer to defend themselves against something with nonsensical combinations of military hardware. The usual punchline is the contraption failing spectacularly, if the viewer doesn't get arrested first for even attempting to use it.
* SurrealHorror: Mailboxes are alive and conspiring against mankind. An entity perceived as a stone bust of Sigmund Freud comes out of fridges to possess people. And worst of all, somebody is coming to touch your computer and there's nothing you can do to prevent it.
* SurrealHumor: Most of the channel's videos revolve around this.
* TheVirus: The Shredded Cheese Man will hunt his prey across the world. All avoiding him for long enough does is make the target so unearthly that before they realize it they've become another Shredded Cheese Man with the ability to assimilate others as well.
