[[WMG: The song "Drumming Song" contains a metaphor within a metaphor.]]
According to [[http://www.last.fm/user/artgeek707/journal/2010/12/29/44lxj5_song_dissection%253A_%2522drumming_song%2522_-_florence_%252B_the_machine this]] last.fm journal the song is a metaphor for the internal struggle between a woman's libido and her strict moral code disguised as an external struggle between paganism and christianity respectively.
** {{Jossed}}. [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drumming_Song#Background Florence said it's only about being really attracted to someone.]] Also in many interviews she has stated that she is very inspired by the gothic movement (not the 80s post punk one but the art movement) so the use of religious imagery is to be expected.

[[WMG: Florence is of Italian descent.]]
Her middle name is Leontine.

[[WMG: The dog days are, in fact, not over.]]
The horses are just in her mind.
* And the bullet too.
** This could turn the entire song into a SanitySlippageSong- she's been through some really terrible times, and she goes insane believing things are better because she can't take it any more.
* Actually, it always came off as that to me.

[[WMG: Dog Days Are Over is about the apocolypse.]]
Why else would it sound so chaotic? It's like a modern day version 'It's the End Of The World As We Know It'.

[[WMG: The video for 'Drumming Song' is influenced by the video for 'Single Ladies'.]]

[[WMG: Dog Days Are Over is about a woman who falls in love (or lust) and ends up giving up her entire career and friendships to build her life around this relationship. It makes her happy in the short-term, but it destroys her whole life.]]

[[WMG: Florence is an [[WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender Airbender.]]]]
How else do you explain her voice?

[[WMG: Music/RageAgainstTheMachine are [[{{Pun}} mad at Florence.]]]]

[[WMG: Drumming Song wants you to [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Recap/DoctorWhoNSS3E12TheSoundOfDrums Vote Saxon]].]]

That, or it's [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Recap/DoctorWhoNSS4E17E18TheEndOfTime paging Rassilon]]...

[[WMG: "Breaking Down" is about [[Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos Slender Man.]]]]
Take some of the lyrics for example:
--> I can see it coming from the edge of the room,
--> creeping in the streetlight...

--> Even when I was a child, I've always known,
--> there was something to be frightened of...

--> All alone, on the edge of sleep
--> my old familiar friend comes and lies down next to me
--> And I can see '''him''' coming from the edge of the room
--> smiling in the streetlight, even with my eyes shut tight...
[[WMG: "Dog Days are Over" is about the holocaust.]]

[[WMG: Florence ships [[VideoGame/TeamFortress2 Heavy/Medic]]]]
And just listen to the verse about the 'killer in the crowd' and tell me it isn't about the Spy! Clearly, what's actually going on in that song is one of the duo was replaced by the enemy Spy, who then drowned the remaining one...

[[WMG: "Never Let Me Go" is about Florence falling victim to [[spoiler:Vecna from ''Series/StrangerThings'']]]]
Much of "Never Let Me Go" shows her dancing with and falling hard for [[spoiler:the same actor who would play Vecna in the series several years later]] only for him to leave and abandon her. It is this rejection that causes her to suffer a watery twist of how [[spoiler:Vecna]] killed his victims in the series - she ends up being suffocated by unnaturally dark and oily tentacles and drowns in a sea of foamy water. However, the end of the video merely shows a crumpled black mass, suggesting she actually hallucinated the events in the video and in reality suffered the same fate as his other victims through being thrown into mid air, having her body twisted and broken and her eyes gouged out.
