A [[TheIngenue young woman]] wakes up in an alleyway with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Looking up, she sees a silver-haired man staring at her. He proclaims her to be his prey, draws a sword, and begins running towards her. She instinctively flees in the opposite direction... only to [[CrashIntoHello crash straight into]] the local [[TheDon mafia don]]. Fortunately, he's a good-natured sort who's not one to abandon a lady in distress. After routing her pursuer and determining her unfortunate situation, Don Caramia offers her shelter within Famiglia Oz's territory while she adjusts to life in the town.

''OZMAFIA!!'' is an [[RomanceGame Otome]] VisualNovel originally made by Poni-Pachet SY, and localized by [=MangaGamer=] in 2016. It's set in a vaguely historical fantasy town ruled over by characters from Western [[FairyTale fairy tales]] and ([[Literature/ThePictureOfDorianGray mostly]]) children's literature, who make up various mafia families. Most prominently influenced by ''Film/TheWizardOfOz''. It was adapted into a short anime in the summer of 2016 and was ported to the Platform/PlayStationVita under the name ''Ozmafia -vivace-''

----
!!The visual novel contains examples of the following tropes:
* AffablyEvil: [[spoiler: Soh]].
* TheChessmaster: Kyrie is skilled at directing not only Famiglia Oz, but the rest of the town as well. On a larger scale, [[spoiler: Soh is basically engineering the entire setting.]]
* CowardlyLion: Caramia, [[Film/TheWizardOfOz historically speaking]], [[spoiler: and again when he loses his courage in his own route.]]
* CrapsaccharineWorld: The unnamed town the game is set in. It's very bright and colorful and there are frequent festivals and celebrations, but it's controlled by [[TheMafia Mafia families]], led by an [[spoiler: immortal]], super-powerful upper class that largely doesn't seem to care about the chaos and casualties their power-jockeying causes the rest of the town. All of the townspeople are literally branded with the symbol of the mafia family they serve, and if they refuse to join a family, their only choices are to live in the crime-ridden slums or the dangerous forest. This general awfulness is [[spoiler: intentional and enforced by Soh.]]
* CastFullOfPrettyBoys: Naturally.
* CatGirl: Pashet and the rest of Famiglia Boots (minus one Cat Boy).
* DeadpanSnarker: Kyrie in particular, but a pretty common reaction from the cast in general to Fuka's [[NaiveNewcomer extreme naivety]].
* DisposableSexWorker: A number of the employees at Dorian Gray's brothel are casually disposed of [[spoiler: usually on the order of Dorian himself]].
* DistinguishingMark: All of the mafiosi and townspeople have a mark on their bodies somewhere that shows what famiglia they belong to.
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: [[spoiler: Soh]], one of the most inconspicuous people in town, is the one pulling the strings for the main plot and to some extent the entire setting. It's also [[spoiler: somewhat ''literally'' true in that he's at least partially [[Film/TheWizardOfOz Toto]]]].
* TheDon: Caramia for Famiglia Oz, Pashet for Famiglia Boots, Ande for Famiglia Anderson, Heidi for Famiglia Adelheid, and [[spoiler: Hamelin]] for Famiglia Grimm.
* DownerEnding: The second Brothel ending has Fuka [[spoiler: turned into a submissive, mute slave for Dorian Gray's amusement.]] The first ending is [[CorruptTheCutie not much better]] but at least [[spoiler: Fuka gets to be [[{{Dominatrix}} in charge.]]]]
* EasilyForgiven: If you go for one of the transferred routes, the guy you started with will be relatively gracious and not mention it again after a confrontation.
* GenderFlip: ''[[Literature/LittleRedRidingHood Scarlet]]'' and ''[[{{Literature/Heidi}} Peter]]''.
* GoToYourRoom: Caramia ends up having to send Kyrie and Axel to their rooms when they won't stop fighting over Fuka during breakfast.
* GuideDangIt: Whether you want to pursue a certain love interest and moreso all the CGs, you must choose certain choices to get to that ending you want otherwise without the guide, you may end up with a different ending or unable to unlock more CGs without it.
* GratuitousItalian: As fits the mafia setting. Caramia in particular leans on this in the English translation.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Fuka's amnesia makes her an easy target -- she tends to just assume that people won't try to do her harm.
* ImmortalityHurts: [[spoiler: The upper class]] can't die, but it's possible for them to be permanently maimed [[spoiler: like Hamelin]] and to suffer horrific injuries.
* TheIngenue: Fuka to a T.
* InNameOnly: Most of the characters have at least some aspects from the characters they're named after. Not so with Myth/RobinHood.
** Also, [[ItsAllAboutMe for all of his egotism]], Kyrie at first assumes that his relationship with Fuka won't last because he considers himself an unpleasant, unlovable person.
* ItsAllAboutMe: By his own admission, Kyrie mostly treats other people as amusements and tools for his own devices. Mostly PlayedForLaughs, for example when he sends TheDon on errands to pick up groceries for him.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Kyrie and Caesar. Axel could also count as well to a lesser extent.
* LoveMartyr: Fuka, early in her relationship with Kyrie. He improves after she explicitly tells him she doesn't mind suffering as long as she can be with him.
* LoveRedeems: For Hamelin and Caesar.
* ManipulativeBastard: Kyrie and [[spoiler: Soh]].
* MartyrWithoutACause: Caramia's FatalFlaw, which infuriates Kyrie on more than one occasion.
* MeaningfulName: Caramia literally means "my dear" in Italian -- the feminine version, at least.
* MindGameShip: Kyrie and Fuka is a lighter version of this -- he doesn't intend her any real harm, but he can't help his [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative]] tendencies. The Brothel route shows a darker version.
* NaiveNewcomer: Fuka would be naive even for a setting that wasn't dominated by gang warfare.
* NotGrowingUpSucks: [[spoiler: Dorothy]] is permanently stuck at the age she became a witch. [[spoiler: Fuka came into existence partially out of her wishes to grow up and experience a normal life.]]
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: The fight with Caesar at the Oz festival.
* OlderThanTheyLook: [[spoiler: The entire ruling class of the town, even the ones that look like children, are implied to be hundreds of years old]].
* PeopleJars: [[spoiler: Robin Hood keeps his comatose wife in one of these.]]
* PitbullDatesPuppy: If Fuka ends up on Kyrie's or Caesar's routes.
* PosthumousCharacter: [[spoiler: Robin Hood's wife and her tragic murder is mentioned in many routes, and the gruesome events leading up to it casts a long shadow over many characters in the game.]]
* PublicDomainCharacter: Most of the characters are inspired in fairy tales, legends and other public domain works.
* PowerDyesYourHair: [[spoiler: Kyrie]], whose hair turns to dark green when he starts commanding his [[spoiler: crows]].
* PsychopathicManchild: [[spoiler: Alfani]] seems perfectly harmless, if a little perverted and goofy. Come the Brothel route, he sees no problem with [[spoiler: keeping Fuka prisoner against her will and participating in Dorian Gray's torture of her.]] He says at one point he's become so inured to the pure brutality of his life that they only thing he really can care about anymore is pure hedonism.
** Hansel has a cheerfully boyish attitude, as he engages in drive-bys and tosses dynamite around.
* RealityWarper: [[spoiler: Dorothy, whose witch powers enabled her to create and populate the setting. Soh, through Dorothy's powers, also has access to some of these abilities.]]
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Caramia, Pashet, and Scarlet, in contrast to the ridiculous antics of most of their fellow mafioso.
* [[spoiler: RefugeeFromTVLand: All of the upper class besides the Oz boys were created by Dorothy based on fictional characters she read about as a child.]]
* RecursiveReality: The Epilogue implies that [[spoiler: the town the game is set in is a separate reality created by Dorothy within [[Film/TheWizardOfOz Oz]].]]
* RomanticRunnerUp: Caramia, Kyrie, and Axel can all end up as this if you start on one of their routes and then transfer to another's.
* {{Sadist}}: Kyrie comments multiple times on how he enjoys causing the suffering of others (albeit usually only through causing inconvenience) and how he loves the face Fuka makes when troubled.
* SecondLove: Fuka is this for [[spoiler: Robin Hood]] on his route. Also, but treated much less seriously, on the Kyrie branch of Caramia's path, it's revealed that she reminds Caramia of a past love. [[spoiler: However, this past love being Dorothy, it likely wasn't love of the romantic sort.]]
** Gretel tends to issue her violent threats without going above her usual monotone.
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: [[spoiler: The entire ruling class of the town]] is immortal. While most of them seem to cope well enough, some ([[spoiler: Robin Hood and Hamelin for example]]) consider it a terrible curse.
* WorldLimitedToThePlot: The town is surrounded by forest and even when Fuka runs away in one route, she never reaches any other settlements. [[spoiler: In the Epilogue, it's implied that the town is a kind of PocketDimension invented by Dorothy for her friends to live in. When Fuka and Soh get far enough away from the town, they start dying.]]
