5	The main character is Vasily, a former soldier of the Russian army. For years, he worked in private security for Alta-Tek, a rich and powerful multinational corporation that produces armaments and advanced technologies. He conducted their dirty work, including targeted killings, kidnappings, torture, and extortion. Eventually, Vasily grew uncomfortable working for the leaders of Alta-Tek, who subsequently tried to have him assassinated. He fled Russia, hiding in a Buddhist monastery of Shaolin monks in China for 20 years.

7	However, Alta-Tek discovers the existence of the monastery and destroys it while hunting down Vasily. He decides to take revenge, fighting Alta-Tek using any means necessary.

Over the years, they have acquired sophisticated weapons and advanced technologies furnished by Alta-Tek, becoming Vasily's biggest adversary.
