''Sea Mongrel'' is an indie horror game developed by Kulu, the creator of ''VideoGame/HungryLamu''.

A young couple goes out to view a sea aquarium for their anniversary, even though it's close to closing time. So, they decide to make the most of it to see the fish. However, in the middle of it, the lights go out and they are attacked by creepy fish with human heads. They'll have to fight their way past the monsters if they want to escape with their lives.

!!''Sea Mongrel'' contains these examples:

* ActionSurvivor: Theo and Kate are just a young couple on a last-minute anniversary trip to a sea aquarium when the lights go out and giant sea animals attack them without warning, forcing them to fight their way back to the exit.
* AnimalisticAbomination: The sea animals that attack Theo and Kim have disturbing human-like faces with various expressions that don't help their case.
* CharacterLevel: After defeating a mutant sea animal, Theo and Kim gain experience points that give them new abilities.
* DontCelebrateJustYet: After having opened the way back to the entrance of the park, Theo and Kim were almost at the exit...until Kim suddenly gets a bad feeling they're being watched. [[spoiler:Sure enough, a bottlenose dolphin attacks them as the last obstacle to freedom.]]
* EarnYourHappyEnding: [[spoiler:After having to survive a nightmarish ordeal escaping the sea aquarium and battling against mutated sea animals, they managed to escape just in time to catch the bus and are finally able to relax, happy to have pulled through together]].
* EasterEgg: A plush can be found in the park resembling Mochi as a banana, which originally made an appearance in ''Hungry Lamu''.
* FreakOut: Theo and Kate have this moment after having fought off a mutant Largemouth Bass, which drives to find a way out of the aquarium as quickly as possible.
* GloveSlap: With the White Glove, Theo or Kate can use it to remove the Sleep status effect.
* HealingHerb: Medicinal Herbs can be optionally found, which can used to cure the Poison status.
* ImprovisedWeapon: Theo and Kate, due to being in a sea aquarium, have to scrounge around the building to find reliable weapons to fight back and escape.
* JumpScare: At least three times within the game, caused by the mutant sea animals. The first time is in the control room when the Hammerhead Shark attacks after the emergency power is turned on, the second time is when the Jellyfish ambushes them from above, and the third time is when the Bottlenose Dolphin attacks them at the aquarium entrance.
* OptionalBoss: The sea tortoise hidden isn't necessary to beat, but defeating it grants Theo and Kate access to additional goods to add to their stock.
* PerilousMarriageProposal: Among the visitors is a young couple on a date, the boyfriend (Brian) intending on proposing to his girlfriend (Mia). Sadly, when Theo and Kate search the place, they find his headless body and an engagement ring he meant to give his beloved.
* PoisonIsEvil: Averted for Theo, as he can optionally acquire an attack that deals Poison damage on the mutant sea creatures.
* ShoutOut: When Theo and Kate look at a pair of fish, they bring up a movie called "Finding Memo", playing with the name of a Disney movie.
* TamperingWithFoodAndDrink: If the note left behind by a former scientist is anything to go on, [[spoiler:it's possible that the scientist, in anger at having to work a mundane job with people he hates - that, by all accounts, hadn't done him wrong - spiked their food or drinks with something that turned them into the sea animal hybrids]].
* TragicKeepsake: Should Theo and Kate deliver the ring to the victim's girlfriend Mia; she figures out what happened to him and decides to keep it to remember him.
