1	* ActingForTwo:
2	** In the Japanese dub for Cartoon Network, the voice actors of both of Peppa's parents (Osamu Sakuta and Creator/YukoSasaki) also voiced Peppa's respective ''grandparents'' as well.
3	** Sarah Ann Kennedy voices Miss Rabbit and also her sister, Mrs Rabbit, aka Mummy Rabbit. Incidentally, the reason why Miss Rabbit has so many different jobs in the show is that the original production team liked working with Sarah Ann Kennedy so much (she's a skilled animator and writer as well as a voice actor, and teaches an MA course in animation), so they just kept calling her up whenever they needed someone to play a receptionist/bus driver/firefighter, etc.
4	* AdoredByTheNetwork: The ultimate CashCowFranchise of Creator/{{Nick Jr}}, and arguably all of Creator/{{Nickelodeon}}, in the UK. The channel loves this show so much that it airs up to 15 times a day. It hit its peak in the early 2010s -- since October 2013, their subchannel, Nick Jr. Too, which already airs hours of ''Peppa Pig'' in its normal schedule, is often replaced with an all-''Peppa Pig'' channel. It's become more and more of an extreme [[ExaggeratedTrope example]], since it's becoming an even bigger CashCowFranchise nowadays.
5	* AmateurCast: Most of the child voice actors in the cast have no other acting credits aside from the show and related material. This is mostly averted with the voice actors for the adult characters.
6	* BannedInChina: Two of the episodes, "Mister Skinnylegs", and "Spider Web", are banned in Australia because [[http://about.abc.net.au/complaints/peppa-pig-received/ it taught children that spiders are harmless]]. It's a fine lesson in Britain, but ''not so fine'' [[UsefulNotes/AustralianWildlife in a country where practically]] EverythingIsTryingToKillYou: when there are so many different species of spiders that a spider identification chart is a ubiquitous household item, one of your most common spiders (the redback) is a cousin to the black widow with equally lethal venom and a much worse temper, ''and'' your largest city is home to what would be the most dangerous spider ''in the world''[[note]](the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sydney_funnel-web_spider Sydney Funnel-web Spider]], in case you're wondering)[[/note]] if not for the Brazilian Wandering Spider, [[JustifiedTrope you don't want kids thinking it's okay to play with spiders]]. The former episode did air once on the Australian Nick Jr. feed[[note]]which is the same as the Asian one, as with most children's channels in the region[[/note]], but was pulled after a parent whose daughter was concerned about other kids copying the episode wrote a letter to the channel.
7	* BreakingNewsInterruption: The Channel 5 premiere of the episode "The Big Hill" on September 9, 2022 was pre-empted for coverage of Queen Elizabeth II's death.
8	* ChannelHop:
9	** Peppa Pig first started airing on the short-lived Creator/CartoonNetwork block, "Tickle U". Then had a stint on Creator/{{Noggin}}. It can now be seen on Creator/NickJr.
10	*** Interesting to note is that for the Cartoon Network airings, the series had a new dub with American voice actors, though on a few occasions, the original UK dub would be aired. This dub is now very hard to find.
11	** The show had multiple Channel Hops in the UK. It first aired on Milkshake (a children's block on Five), then settled on ''three'' Creator/NickJr channels.
12	** Starting in 2021, animation production will be transferred over to Creator/KarrotEntertainment.

14	** The original Japanese dub ended when Shinichiro Takakuwa, the dub director, died at the age of 82. 7 years later, the dub would be continued as part of Creator/TVTokyo's ''Kinder TV'' block.
15	** The Brazillian voice of Suzy Sheep, Ana Lucia Menezes, passed away in April 2021 due to a COVID-related stroke. Her role was filled in by her daughter, Bia Menezes (the second voice of Peppa).
16	** Creator/JoseLavat, who voiced Grandpa Pig in the Mexican Spanish dub, died in May 2018. He was replaced by Creator/CesarArias, who died in December 2020 after the dub of season 6. He was then replaced by Eduardo Tejedo.
17	* DuelingDubs:
18	** There was a short-lived American English dub that aired on Creator/CartoonNetwork from 2005 to 2007.

22	* FollowTheLeader: ''Peppa Pig'''s success has spawned a few equivalent shows in countries besides the UK attempting to get a piece of that pie:
23	** Vietnamese web series ''WebAnimation/{{Wolfoo}}'' is similar enough to ''Peppa Pig'' that Entertainment One, the production company of ''Peppa Pig'', sued ''Wolfoo'''s production company over it. This can easily be seen with its simplistic art style, which makes the characters look straight out of ''Peppa Pig''.
24	** Australian series ''Bluey'' was created by an alumnus from ''Peppa Pig'' and was originally supposed to be an outright TransatlanticEquivalent to ''Peppa Pig'', but became its own thing instead. Even still, it's considered similar enough in writing style to be a competitor to ''Peppa Pig''.
25	** China's ''Animation/OurFriendXiongXiaoMi'' has a more detailed painted art style for its backgrounds, but otherwise replicates ''Peppa Pig'''s art style for the characters. Its main character, Remy Bear (known as Xiong Xiao Mi in Chinese), has a similar name formula to the character Peppa Pig (an actual name followed by the name of the animal they are), and he lives in a house on a grassy hill separate from other buildings like Peppa does.
26	** The art style of ''Peppa Pig'' is replicated in the Russian show ''Animation/KidECats''.

28	** The American English dub that aired on Creator/CartoonNetwork back in 2005 has become lost, largely due to the obscurity and short life of the "Tickle-U" block it aired on, and Noggin[=/=]Creator/NickJr airing the UK version.
29	** The original UK release of "The Golden Boots" also counts. The bridging segments by the Milkshake hosts and an actual list of episodes that weren't the titular special are near-impossible to find.
30	** The original Japanese dub has become lost in a similar scenario to the US dub. It is still unconfirmed if "Colorful Fanfare" was actually used as the theme song or not, but the label who released it confirms it as such.

32	** Peppa has had four voice actresses. However, other characters voiced by children still had their original voice actors for much longer, but have had a replacement actor/actress at least once in the show's run.
33	** The Latin American dub was dubbed twice in different countries. The first dubbed version was voiced in Venezuela, and the second one in Mexico.
34	* PopCultureUrbanLegends: American parents have alleged that their kids have started speaking with British accents due to watching this show and getting most of their exposure to English speech from it. This started in 2019, but resurfaced in 2021, when COVID prevented kids from having contact with other real people.
35	* SameLanguageDub: There exists two versions of the special "Peppa's Christmas": one where Peppa is voiced by Cecily Bloom, and another where her lines were re-dubbed by Harley Bird.
36	* ScrewedByTheNetwork: Nick complied after being pelted by Malaysian parents and educators over not airing the show... by putting it on at a time where the target demographics were in kindergarten and preschool, and only on weekdays with absolutely ''zero'' repeats. Adding further insult, the show only aired on Nickelodeon instead of the Nick Jr. channel. The show was swiftly cancelled over the "low ratings" excuse once it ended its initial run.
37	* ShortRunInPeru: Series 5 onwards has had several episodes broadcast in either Australia or the United States before their initial airing in native United Kingdom.
38	* UnisexSeriesGenderedMerchandise: Because of [[GirlShowGhetto the show's protagonist being female]], most of the merchandise for this show outside of the toyline is aimed at young girls. Merchandise for boys features the character George only, even if Peppa is on the package or hangtags.
