* AcclaimedFlop: Despite the show's good story and well-developed characters, it did not do well in sales for selling the toys and advertisement for it was little to none. Not to mention the premise of the show, which many will view as another Mon series, came out during the time its sister franchise was still ongoing. Most likely due to Takara Tomy favouring Franchise/Beyblade due to its wider success in the west, and Hasbro's TotallyRadical GrossOutShow marketing.
* CrossDressingVoices: A few examples...
** Creator/MonaMarshall (who also voiced Bull in the original Anime/BattleBDaman) is voicing Riki.
** Samuru is voiced by Creator/WendeeLee.
** Kaito’s voiced by Creator/ErinFitzgerald
** Simon is voiced by Creator/KatieLeigh
** is voiced by Creator/DorothyEliasFahn
* DuelingShows: With Anime/BeybladeShogunSteel. Interestingly, during its run in Japan, it was this to Beyblade: Metal Fury. This despite being based on another product from the same company, basically resulting in self-competition. This almost certainly led to the toyline's failure in the West, besides Hasbro's MisaimedMarketing.
* MisaimedMarketing: Hasbro's advertisement of the franchise is about as 2012 as you can get -- a combination of the TotallyRadical slogan "Be da Man! B-Daman!" and gross-out humor. It felt like they were aiming it at young kids as "the cool thing the older kids like", but it didn't particularly appeal to either. Fans of Battle B-Daman weren't even that excited, since it tried to be "hip with the kids" instead of showing off some of its admittedly improved features.
* MissingEpisode: Episodes 20, 21, and 22 were accidentally skipped in favor of Digimon Fusion arriving in January. Luckily, Vortexx place the missing episodes on their website.
* TheOtherDarrin: Returning characters from Crossfire got new [=VAs=] in due to studios switching. Fireblast being voiced by the Creator/TheOceanGroup and their sister studio, Blue Waters.
* PlayingAgainstType: Creator/BrycePapenbrook who usually voices Nice Guy characters, voicing the not so nice Basara Kurochi.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen:
** Creator/JohnnyYongBosch would've voiced Kamon in Fireblast if it weren't for the studio change.
** The anime was going to head Cartoon Network in the west but ended up in Vortexx, the last kind of Saturday morning cartoon block.
