A popular collector-oriented line of toys produced by Bandai Japan's Tamashii Nations sub-brand, well-known for its focus on sculpt quality, natural yet effective articulation and large accessory count. The line mainly produces ''Franchise/KamenRider'' figures, and as of 2011 ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' too, but it has ventured into various anime licenses, as well as live-action properties, video games and occasionally real people.

Since its inception, the line has also spawned several spin-off lines:
* ''Figuarts ZERO'', a line of Figuarts-sized statues primarily covering anime licenses such as ''Manga/{{Naruto}}''.
* ''D-Arts'', focusing on action figures for video game franchises. Has been reabsorbed into the main line.
* ''S.H. [=MonsterArts=]'', articulated figures for {{kaiju}} series such as ''Franchise/{{Godzilla}}''.

In 2014, S.H. Figuarts unveiled the Shinkocchou Seihou sub-line. It either gives figures a much needed upgrade from their original figure (e.g., Kabuto, Kuuga and Agito) or a character without a figure (e.g., Hibiki).

!! Tropes specific to this toyline are...
* ActionDad: Minato Namikaze, Loid Forger, Bardock, Vegeta, Goku, Hawkeye, Iron Man and Spider-Man 2099.
* ArtEvolution: The earlier figures are much skinnier than their source material. This was especially true of the ''Kamen Rider'' figures, who ''have to be'' based off of real people since there's no alternative outside of a handful of those who have manga. Over time, Figuarts moved to more accurate proportions in accordance with source material, with ''Kamen Rider'' in particular pushing ''heavily'' towards show accuracy including taking measurements of the suits themselves when designing the figures.
* BadassCape:
** Minato, Sage Mode Naruto and Kurama Link Naruto in the ''Naruto'' line.
** Most of their Thor figures.
** Their Batman and Superman figures.
** Gamma 1 & 2, Great Saiyaman and Turles in the ''Dragon Ball'' line.
** Guts and Griffith from ''Berserk''.
* BlackCloak: Guts' cape and Itachi and Pain's Akatsuki robes.
* {{BFS}}:
** Guts Dragonslayer.
** Trunks sword.
** 99 edition Sakura's axe.
** Ichigo, Renji and Byakuya's zanpakuto.
* BodyHorror: Some of the Figuarts have more biological designs instead of the armor-like or robotic outlines of the regular series.
* ComicalOverreacting: A lot of their figures come with very comedic faces, such as the Shippuden Naruto, kid Naruto, Kurama Link Naruto, kid Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Jiraiya (Exclusive only), Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, Trafalgar Law, Kaido, Anya Forger, Loid Forger, and Ichigo.
* DirtyOldMan: Roshi and Jiraiya both got figures in their respective lines and both figures come with alternate faces to represent their perverted personalities.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Figuarts in the early days (re: ''Series/KamenRiderBlackRX'', ''Anime/YesPrettyCure5GoGo'') were very sparse in accessories, usually only a couple of hands and a weapon. They also had a different joint system for the guys.
* MalevolentMaskedMan: Obito Uchiha comes with an alternate head featuring his mask.
* FrogNinja: The Sage Mode Naruto figures come with interchangeable pieces to represent Naruto's sage mode transformation.
* HenshinHero: The bulk of the line's initial output was of the ''Franchise/KamenRider'' franchise, although it also catered to ''Franchise/SuperSentai'' and ''Series/MetalHeroes'' fans to a degree. Eventually, it branched out and these figures instead became the minority (and mostly P-Bandai exclusives), with ''Super Sentai'' having sporadic releases at best.
* NotQuiteStarring: A lot of the live action figure have had rather spotty likenesses of their actors. Examples include their Captain America figures, the Captain Marvel figure from ''The Marvels'', ''No Way Home'' Green Goblin, ''Justice League'' Superman, Unmasked Red Ranger, Tony Stark and their ''Endgame'' Thor figures.
* TheRemake:
** The Shinkocchou Seihou subline is explicitly meant to serve as upgraded replacements for the previous figures.
** Once the ''Naruto'' and ''One Piece'' lines were rebooted the 2020s, characters that already received figures were remade with all new sculpts.
* SerpentOfImmortality: The Orochimaru figure is labeled as "Seeker of Immortality", while Orochimaru himself has various snake-like traits, such as the figure coming with his striking shadow snake arms.
* ShesAManInJapan: Actually averted concerning [[Series/KyoryuSentaiZyuranger Tiger Ranger]] - the Japanese release uses a male mold while the American release uses a female mold.
* ShoddyKnockoffProduct: Several knockoff companies make knockoffs of the figures, most notably for ''Dragon Ball'' and Marvel. A lot of them often fall apart, have bad paint jobs, the accessories aren't compatible and they have loose joints, although some are surprisingly decent in quality.
* SuperMode:
** If a Kamen Rider has an upgraded form, it will almost always get a figure. In Kiva's case, his one got a Shinkocchou Seihou release ''before'' the base form! Kuuga in particular gets a lot of love in terms of his forms.
** A large part of the ''Dragon Ball'' line is the alternate forms of the characters, ''especially'' the Saiyans. Almost all of them are general releases as well, so Tamashi makes them easy to get too.
** ''Naruto'' has the Kurama Link and Sage Modes for Naruto.
** ''One Piece'' has Gear 5 Luffy, who also came with bendable limbs to emphasise the form.
** ''Bleach'' has the Dual Zangetsu Ichigo.
* SuperpoweredEvilSide: The first Sukuna figure for the ''Jujutsu Kaisen'' line is the shirtless form he took when he battled Megumin while possessing Yuji.
* SuperSoldier: Captain America, Winter Soldier and some of the Kamen Riders.
* SwordAndGun:
** ''Deadpool 2'' figure comes with both of his swords and multiple guns.
