He promptly vomited a glittering rainbow of foul waste, and the classroom erupted with applause, triggering my migraine. I aborted the class and was left to clean the boy's sick. Halfway through, Argus Filch showed up and bragged about his many affairs with Hogsmeade barmaids. 11	* A justified example in ''Roleplay/{{AJCO}}''. Everyone loves to see Breyos suffer - even InUniverse - because he's ''that'' much of a {{Jerkass}}. He gets kicked around (sometimes literally) far more than any of the other Silo residents, and while he seems to be able to bounce back quickly with nothing more than a new layer of hatred for the world it's never very long before he starts to suffer again.
12	* Ghost of Radio/TrueCapitalist Radio is a special example, in that it's the audience that ''makes'' him suffer, through [[ManipulativeEditing embarrassing splices]], {{sampling}} remixes, and generally {{Troll}}ing him.
13	* Joey from the LetsPlay/SomethingAwfulDungeonsAndDragons LetsPlay comes off as this. Early on, he's the first one to die (though he gets better). It's clear that, though he's ostensibly the leader, he's not particularly respected among his party, which he himself notes when they mock his poor rolls after he threatens to hit the next person who tries to split the party.
14	* In several sprite videos on Website/YouTube, [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Silver]] always gets injured in the most ridiculous ways.
15	* Deacon from ''WebVideo/VideoGamesAwesome'' manages to be both this and the series ButtMonkey at the same time. People enjoy watching him be insulted by the other members of the show and frequently insult him as well, but he's usually the character who gets the most positive comments and love from the viewers as well.
16	* [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Mario]] becomes this in [[http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/476864 Mario's Castle Calamity]] and the videos that have the same type of structure to it. Mario tries to destroy a castle, but fails numeros times as he and his friends (except for [[ButtMonkey Toad]], who Mario ''hates'' in these kinds of videos, and gets the same type of damage dealt to him), are beaten and battered in numerous ways, going from Mario getting his head sucked off by '''three squids stacked on eachother,''' to getting his face crushed by a Bullet Bill.
17	** And then someone made a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUvRRrsj6PM Castle Calamity 2.6]], where in the end, Mario finally destroys the castle, but then Peach is kidnapped, and then Mario notices that [[HereWeGoAgain there is ]]''[[HereWeGoAgain another]]'' [[HereWeGoAgain castle that he needs to destroy.]] Instead, he rather [[WeAreNotGoingThroughThatAgain decides to end his life than attempt to destroy it again.]]
18	* Pumpkinweenie from WebVideo/{{Phelous}}'s Halloweenie skits always gets stabbed or humiliated by Halloweenie ever since he was introduced. To make matters worse for that pumpkin, Halloweenie was jealous during his "cancellation".
19	* Harry Kim of ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'', in Website/SFDebris's reviews. "Poor Dumb Harry" endures a truckload of abuse from Parody Janeway, such as being demoted to a rank that doesn't exist, used as a footstool, beaten, dismembered, used as an experimental subject, beaten ''again'', shot a few times and killed so often Janeway has to number the pieces to make him easier to put back together.
20	* Out of all the people that play with Vanoss, LetsPlay/DaithiDeNogla almost always gets it the worst. In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJcWv01PbzQ this video alone]], the guys cheat in a ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV'' tournament, and as a result Daithi gets mugged ''three times'' by hired muggers (discounting the fourth that he killed), disrupting his performance immensely. [[TheDogBitesBack He went on to kill those responsible repeatedly, and won the tournament anyway]].
21	* This is Shinn Asuka's character in the [[http://kenkoudaa.sakura.ne.jp/page132.html Kenkoudaa Flash videos]] which spoof the various ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'' shows, including ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeedDestiny''.
22	* In LetsPlay/HatFilms, nine times out of ten it is Trott that gets abused by the others, usually Smith.

Alpharad and company start joking that while she's the greatest fighter in countless other worlds, she came to ours because it would be a real challenge. Then came the episode "TIMESKIP" and [[spoiler:after Alpha and Jo joke that she's now a badass who has won dozens of unseen tournaments in a row, she actually goes on to ''win the tournament''... only to be KilledOffForReal in [[YankTheDogsChain a match against "Blood Falcon"]].]]
26	* If a Karin Dilettante (or Toyota Prius, to use its real-life name) shows up in a WebVideo/FailRace video, expect it to be blown up, crashed into, or otherwise harassed for the sake of comedy.
27	* ''Website/NobodyHere'': Teddy receives a lot of damage in "[[https://nobodyhere.com/justme/bear.here Bear]]". Readers are able set him on fire, pierce him with screws, wrap him in wool, hurt him with a mouse trap, tear him apart with scissors, cover him in clothing pins and choke him with a rubber glove.
28	* ''WebVideo/SMPLive'': While Joko is a giant ButtMonkey in general, he is, in particular, Cooper's chew toy. The audience loves seeing Cooper torment him so much that Cooper will sometimes get up to 5 donations to kill Joko in one stream.
29	* In ''WebVideo/{{Highcraft}}'', Joko is frequently tormented by the others, particularly Cooper, who goes out of his way to manually recreate his house in the sky in the video "I raised his property value.".
