He'd planned on proposing to Emma, [[spoiler: but a jealous woman learned of this and thus framed her for witchcraft. Emma was burnt at the stake.]] Chris knew his magic would allow him to undo this, but he could only use it once a day, so he took Emma's little brother in and waited until he could use his magic again. [[spoiler: A group of sorcerers who feared his powers arrive before he could do so and seal his magic away within the three objects, which were all precious to him somehow. Emma's little brother dies in the crossfire.]] |
