When Marge mistakenly thinks Homer is [[MistakenForFlirting flexing for other women]] during a stint building houses for Habitat for Humanity (he was actually reenacting how Marge was in labor with Bart), she opts for a liposuction, but gets breast implants meant for one of Mayor Quimby's female interns by mistake. Meanwhile, Bart and Milhouse get Krusty the Clown in trouble when they imitate a stunt he did on an old episode of ''Series/{{Batman|1966}}'' (the campy 1960s show with Creator/AdamWest as Batman) where Krusty played a villain and Krusty is forced to get rid of anything considered imitable by the censors.

!!This episode contains examples of:

* ActorAllusion: The Radio/RadioDisney announcer is voiced by Creator/TressMacNeille, who in addition to voicing several Springfield Elementary students as well as Lindsay Naegle and Agnes Skinner, is also the current voice of WesternAnimation/DaisyDuck and various other Disney characters.
* AsideGlance: During Dr. Hibbert's solo in "You're A Bunch of Stuff," Moe gives a subtle sly smile to the camera.
* AssumedWin: One of history's most famous incidents of this is parodied when Homer loses a bet with Lisa to chose the day's father-daughter activity as the two watch a History Channel show on the Harry S. Truman/Thomas E. Dewey presidential election and he bets on Dewey.
* AtrociousAlias: While doing his activity with Lisa, Homer tries to do his own "El Barto". It doesn't work as his new vandal name is "EL HOMO", which gets him MistakenForGay by a gay Hispanic man who finds it brave that Homer is allegedly coming out of the closet.
* BaitAndSwitch:
** Marge sees Homer seemingly flexing his arms in front of Cookie Kwan and Lindsay Naegle. As it turns out, he was demonstrating how Marge gave birth to Bart.
** Krusty's heroics appear to be the Springfield Shopper's top story, under "TV Clown Saves Day". The camera then zooms out to reveal it's a blurb in the lower right with "Crazed Mom Goes Topless" being the actual headline.
* BreastExpansion: Marge was accidentally given breast implants by mistake.
-->''"My [=McGuppies=] became '''bazongas!'''"''
* TheBusCameBack: Stampy, who first appeared in the episode "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS5E17BartGetsAnElephant Bart Gets an Elephant]]", reappears at a Shoe Expo and is part of Bart's attempted plot to redeem Krusty in the eyes of Springfield.
* BuxomBeautyStandard: Every man in Springfield believes in it, thanks to Marge's augmented bosom. [[ItMakesSenseInContext So do lobsters apparently.]] It also made the front page headlines "Crazed Mom Goes Topless: Photos pages 3-28".
* CallBack:
** The plastic surgeon in this episode is the same one from "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS11E16Pygmoelian Pygmoelian]]", and there are before and after pictures of Moe from his plastic surgery.
** When asking for advice, Marge asks Manjula if she remembers [[Recap/TheSimpsonsS13E19TheSweetestApu the time Apu cheated on her]], to which she replies, [[SarcasmMode through gritted teeth, "Yes, thank you."]]
* CrowdSong:
** "You're A Bunch Of Stuff," in which all of the adult male patrons at Luigi's (save Smithers) break into a rousing number about likening Marge's breasts to numerous awesome things in their lives (such as Comic Book Guy comparing them to "ComicBook/XMen #3 in a Mylar bag" and the Sea Captain saying Marge is like Jacqueline Bisset in his favorite film ''The Deep''[[note]]''The Deep'' was infamous for showing Jacqueline Bisset swimming in a thin, white T-shirt.[[/note]]).
** Bart tries to do a CrowdSong too, but Homer stops him, citing that "With the economy the way it is, you're lucky you get soup".
* DCupDistress: Initially, Marge wanted to get rid of the implants as soon as possible due to how unwieldy and clumsy they make her (she has difficulty in doing even the simplest tasks), hiding them from her family, but she soon enjoys the extra attention they bring her. Later, however, the attention becomes too much, she starts getting backaches, and by the end of the episode she has the implants removed.
* DeconstructedTrope: A deconstruction of getting massive breasts thanks to a mix-up at the plastic surgeon's office. Marge begins having back pains and is sexually objectified and harassed by every man in town; [[{{Reconstruction}} reconstructed]] when she flashes the crowd to distract the cops from getting ready to shoot Stampy the elephant ([[ItMakesSenseInContext who had Homer, Milhouse, and Bart in its mouth]]) and makes Krusty out to be a hero.
* FanservicePack: For Marge who accidentally gets huge boobs for this episode.
* IwoJimaPose: Milhouse on a runaway Roundabout knocks over the school flag just as Skinner was giving a tour of the school to some veterans of Iwo Jima. They do the famous pose while propping the flag back up, only for Milhouse to come around again and knock them and the flag down.
* KarmaHoudini: Despite the stunt that got Krusty in trouble coming from the 1960's ''Series/{{Batman|1966}}'' series, only he gets in trouble for it, with no mention of Creator/AdamWest receiving any blame for actually ''doing'' the stunt.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: When Milhouse gets in trouble, Skinner easily divines that Bart was involved because, in his words, "Milhouse has never been anything more than a comic foil."
* MistakenForGay: While working on a Habitat for Humanity home-building project with Lisa, Homer decides to give himself an "El Barto"-esque nickname, "El Homo". A Latino man with stereotypically gay characteristics misinterprets this as Homer openly admitting he's gay and says, "If only I had your courage, señor." Cue OhCrap from Homer, who frantically paints the rest of the wall to cover up his signature.
* MonsterClown: Krusty is demonized as one in the episode due to "corrupting their children". His habits don't exactly help with that image, although he's comparatively back on good terms at the end.
* MyEyesAreUpHere: One of the scenes cut (shown in FOX promos/commercials, but not in the episode) has Bart and Lisa run into Homer's and Marge's bedroom at night. Marge is in her robe and Bart stares at her cleavage. Marge frantically points to her face and tells Bart to "Just focus on Mommy's face", to which Bart replies, "I'm trying, Mom."
* NoodleIncident:
** Homer apparently wears a band-aid covered in tin foil in place of his wedding ring, which is "inside a turtle."
** Later, Bart is able to see Krusty in private because the doorman (who was also his agent) died.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Lisa is the one to come up with the best on the spot response to Marge’s new implants, something Homer commends her for. She also admits she noticed earlier and spent several moments figure out the best quip.
* ParodyAssistance: The Baha Men make a special appearance to perform two [[SongParody parodies]] of their hit song "Who Let the Dogs Out": "Who Left the Milk Out?", which Marge listens to on the radio; and "Who Let Her Jugs Out?", which plays during the credits.
* ShoutOut:
** One of the protest signs held when Krusty is being harassed by MoralGuardians has ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButthead'' and ''Series/{{Jackass}}'' scratched out. Both of those shows were targets of censors and [[MediaWatchdog media watchdog]] groups for showing dangerous stunts that could influence children and more impressionable viewers to copy in real life (with mostly fatal consequences).
** Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and George H. W. Bush invoke Film/TheThreeStooges by getting into {{Slapstick}} hijinks while building houses.
** The episode title is a play upon the character Large Marge from ''Film/PeeWeesBigAdventure''.
* ShowSomeLeg: Marge when she flashes the crowd to distract the cops from getting ready to shoot Stampy the elephant (who had Homer, Milhouse, and Bart in its mouth) and makes Krusty out to be a hero.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Cookie Kwan and Lindsay Naegle become interested in Homer when they see him helping Lisa paint.
* SoBeautifulItsACurse: When Marge accidentally gets breast implants, she wants to remove them but decides to keep them after receiving barrages of compliments and favours. But she decides to get rid of them in the end after receiving a combination of back problems and sexual harassment from unwanted admirers. She also feels the stress of being a model.
* SpoilerCover: The plot synopsis on Disney+ spoils the third act.
-->Marge's new implants come to the rescue when an elephant gets out of control.
* TakeThat: "You're listening to Radio/RadioDisney: the songs you love [[{{Bowdlerize}} re-written for babies!]]" Marge calls it "good satire" that doesn't hurt anyone... [[DamnedByAFoolsPraise as Maggie stuffs pacifiers in her ears]].
* ThatCameOutWrong: [[{{Pun}} In more ways than one]]: Homer invokes Bart's "El Barto" persona by painting a similar insignia on the side of a house. It ends up reading "El Homo." He starts frantically trying to paint over it when he realizes what he's written and a passersby comments on how brave it is that he's out of the closet.
* ToplessnessFromTheBack: Marge is viewed from behind after she pulls down the top of her dress to flash her boobs as a distraction.
* TheUnfavorite: Bart becomes this after his attempted stunt gets Krusty in trouble with protestors. Homer even cuts his chance at singing short.
* UnusualEuphemism: The writers must have had a field day making up slang words for breasts.
* VerbalBackpedaling: Towards the end of "You're a Bunch of Stuff," Mayor Quimby declares Marge "the hottest thing to hit this town since the fire that killed eleven," prompting a gasp from the crowd, to which Quimby quickly adds "dangerous criminals."
* WeNeedADistraction: To stop the police from potentially shooting Bart, Milhouse, and Homer, Marge flashes her enhanced breasts to the crowds.
* WolverinePublicity: Sideshow Bob was featured in a promotion art of Marge flashing her breasts to the crowd.
* WorstNewsJudgmentEver: Krusty appears to be the Springfield Shopper's top story after saving Bart, Milhouse, and Homer from Stampy. The actual headline: "Crazed Mom Goes Topless" in huge red print with pictures from pages 3-28.
