!!Tropes:
* AnAesop: Subverted! Raven attempts to give one to Melvin, along the lines of "don't blame an imaginary friend for your powers if your powers happen to be destructive; learn to control them instead." The subversion is Melvin's imaginary friend is ''real'', which throws Raven's Aesop out the window.
* BabysittingEpisode: Starring Raven as a babysitter tasked with escorting three child superheroes to a monastery. While initially reluctant (Raven even asks why couldn't Starfire be the babysitter, since she likes children) eventually Raven bonds with the kids.
* BaitAndSwitch: Throughout the episode, Raven thinks that Melvin is using her ImaginaryFriend Bobby as an excuse to blame her psychic powers. It's not until the end of the episode where it's revealed that Bobby ''is'' real, just invisible because he was hiding from Raven.
* CableCarActionSequence: Happens between Raven and Monsieur Mallah during an escape attempt on a cable car, also the point where Raven starts fighting instead of running away.
* CallBack: Raven's bedtime story is a condensed version of the Season 4 finale.
* CharacterFocus: For Raven.
* ColorFailure: The three kids hilariously went monochrome after hearing Raven's "bedtime story".
* CreatorCameo: The three monks are based on Teen Titans artist Nick Cardy and co-creators George PĂ©rez and Marv Wolfman.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Teether's superpower.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: After Raven finishes a conversation with Beast Boy after leaving food outside for Bobby, the food on the plate right next to her has disappeared, [[NotSoImaginaryFriend hinting at Bobby's nature]].
* KillerTeddyBear: Bobby's true form is a monstrous teddy bear that can go toe-to-toe with Monsieur Mallah.
* MamaBear: Raven, who eventually sees the three superpowered children as her own and flies into a rage attacking Mallah near the end when Mallah attempts abducting the kids.
--> '''Raven''': Nobody messes with ''my kids''!
* MetronomicManMashing: Bobby delivers a rather satisfying one on Mallah in the episode's climax.
* NotSoImaginaryFriend: Turns out Melvin's superpower is to create constructs like Bobby.
* PickOnSomeoneYourOwnSize: Melvin states this to Monsieur Mallah before she gets Bobby to whoop his ass.
* PowerIncontinence: Subverted. Melvin blames her imaginary friend Bobby for strange disturbances happening around them, but Raven believes that Melvin is using that as an excuse for her lack of control over her powers, which Raven (implicitly speaking from experience) assumes is telekinesis. Turns out, Bobby really ''is'' real, and Melvin willed him into existence.
* PsychicPowers: Raven, as per usual. Melvin also has these powers, albeit more in creating constructs to fight.
* ItsQuietTooQuiet: "Quiet... Too Quiet" is Said by Raven when the kids abruptly stop crying after she leaves them with the monks. Turns out the kids abruptly stopped crying because they were kidnapped by the Brotherhood of Evil.
* SuperScream: Timmy's superpower.
* TeamMom: Raven grows into one during this episode--see the page quote.
* TwoGuysAndAGirl: The kids follow this formula.
