Then she tries to hold an anniversary celebration outside on a stormy night, ignoring the Man of Steel's warnings. A lightning bolt changes Leslie's power level, but not her hatred for Superman, and she becomes the most [[{{Pun}} shocking]] supervillain in town -- Livewire.

13	* InsultToRocks: When he and Lois are sent to cover Leslie's anniversary gathering, Jimmy remarks that he's seen mob violence more well-organized than the party.

She then blamed Superman for the mess, mostly from seeing on TV a reporter interviewing Superman accusing that he deliberately didn't push Leslie out of the way when the lightning struck.
17	* PetTheDog: Luthor (implied to be her former employer at radio station WLXL) pays for Livewire's medical treatment at the end of the episode -- although mostly because they both hate the Man of Steel.
18	* PsychoElectro: Leslie is understandably freaked out by her transformation. As soon as she starts getting used to her powers, she uses them to blackmail Metropolis and lash out at Superman.
