4	Is there such a thing as being too good? With Ren's help and some last-minute modelling lessons, Kyoko finally gets a grip on the Natsu that she wants to portray. She arrives on the set of ''Box "R"'' the next day already in character, and despite her costars' attempts at sabotage "Natsu" blows everyone away. The director loves her new take on the old bully role, but there's one person who isn't feeling the love. Kyoko's costar Chiori can't stand the fact that her plan to get Kyoko in hot water with the director has gone to pot, but beneath all that there's a simmering resentment over Kyoko's seemingly effortless rise to fame. Even Chiori's attempts to bully Kyoko are having no effect!

6	As filming on ''Box "R"'' proceeds, Kyoko learns a bit about Chiori's past and pieces together a dark secret that Chiori would prefer stay buried. Things come to a boil when Chiori learns that, in addition to being featured on ''Japonet Scope'' before Chiori, Kyoko has ''another'' regular role on a TV show (never mind that it's as a [[EmbarrassingAnimalSuit giant chicken]]). Kyoko is used to dealing with her own demons, but how will she fare when she's up against someone else's?

10	* Act 127. "Private Exit" [[note]]Kyoko is having trouble inhabiting the role of Natsu for ''Box "R"''. She visits Ren to ask for some modeling advice. Fired up by Kyoko's complete faith in his abilities, Ren teaches her some modeling skills. Yashiro arrives the next morning and finds out that Kyoko has spent the night.[[/note]]
11	* Act 128. "Switchover" [[note]]Chiori is caught up anticipating the result of her sabotage on Kyoko, but she's also hiding a secret. Honami, who is fed up with Kyoko's inability to get in character, impulsively sabotages Kyoko's costume. Kyoko makes her backstage debut as Natsu, startling costars Honami and Yuka.[[/note]]
12	* Act 129. "Slow Burning War" [[note]]Kyoko's in full "Natsu" mode now. Chiori delights in the prospect of Kyoko getting chewed out by the director. "Natsu" apologizes for her tardiness, as she was missing part of her uniform. Meanwhile, Ren and Yashiro discuss how quickly Kyoko was able to catch on to Ren's modeling lessons and apply them to her character.[[/note]]
13	* Act 130. "Reversal" [[note]]"Natsu" suggests that if she can't find her uniform's ribbon then Honami, Yuka, and Chiori ought to go without to match her. The director loves this new interpretation of Natsu and agrees. Kyoko has won over everyone on set except for Chiori, who is livid that Kyoko has triumphed.[[/note]]
14	* Act 131. "The Image that Emerged" [[note]]Chiori attempts to bully Kyoko by secretly ripping up the nametag on her dressing room, but Kyoko is unimpressed. Kyoko invites Honami and Yuka to go out and get food with her, and to their surprise they find themselves enjoying the experience. Chiori has been ordered by the director to change her "look" to fit in with Natsu's clique, but the director is unhappy with the results and production on ''Box "R"'' lags even further behind. During some down time on the set of ''Yappa Kimagure Rock'', Kyoko begins to piece together a dark secret about Chiori's past.[[/note]]
15	* Act 132. "Cross Eyes" [[note]]Kyoko learns more about Chiori's past as a child actress. Scribbling in a notebook full of hateful thoughts, Chiori's resentment towards Kyoko's success builds and builds. Chiori sees Kyoko at the TV station where they're both scheduled to appear in separate shows and in a fit of anger, she shoves Kyoko down a staircase. Even as she's falling, Kyoko signals to Chiori that she's been found out.[[/note]]

29	* TheMakeover: Kyoko's makeover for the role of Natsu is subtle but effective: she parts her hair to the side and smooths it down a bit, accessorizes with Princess Rosa, and makes generous use of the nice cosmetics that Moko gave her as a birthday present. But the biggest change is in her personality and comportment. "Kyoko" is proper and unfailingly polite, to the point that her costars refer to her as "plain udon." But "Natsu" is naturally poised and elegant, with an affected personality -- as if nothing that happens can phase her nor pique her interest.

Eventually, the job offers stopped coming in. Having grown up a little, Chiori is trying to make it in show business after discarding her stage name, but she's seen little progress in the four years since she's returned to acting. Chiori becomes extremely resentful that Kyoko, a newcomer who hasn't been acting for even a full year, seems able to escape the role of Mio so easily.
