1	Phineas and Ferb decide to build an observatory in honor of Comet Kermillian's appearance; Candace goes on a picnic with Jeremy only to have his little sister get in her way; and Linda and Lawrence try to buy steaks for an evening cookout...but Dr. Doofenshmirtz has bought up all the steaks in Danville.

4	* AccidentalDanceCraze: Candace kicking and screaming around because of the squirrels in her pants is mistaken by a group of street performers for a dance number, which they join along to.
5	* BeefBandage: Doofenshmirtz invents a pair of glasses called Steak Specs, which hold a piece of steak to both of the user's eyes in case they get struck with a black eye.
6	* HairReboot: While testing the laser, [[CloseCallHaircut Ferb accidentally burns off one of the strands in Phineas' hair]], who comments, "new hairdo, check it out." However, just a few shots later, the strand is fully grown again.
7	* LaserGuidedKarma: Suzy spends the entire episode trying to sabotage Candace's date with Jeremy. At the end of the episode, as she tries to ruin the moment yet again with the croquet mallet and the ball, a huge pile of steaks lands on top of her.

After Monogram ends the broadcast by claiming they've found a cure, Lawrence tells his wife the news, and Linda says "Great! I can finally take off this puce ribbon."
17	* TheTelevisionTalksBack: Quite literally, since Monogram is inside the television while he's interacting with Lawrence. Oddly enough, Lawrence doesn't question this.
18	* ThisIsNoTimeToPanic: When the observatory threatens to collapse thanks to Doof's death ray, Phineas says this to the audience. Then a piece of the roof nearly lands on him, and he says "Okay, ''now'' you can panic."
19	* ThrowTheDogABone: After being a ButtMonkey for the entire episode, Candace finally gets to have a nice moment with Jeremy watching the comet at the end.
