!!This episode features examples of:
* AllJustADream: The end of the episode reveals that the whole thing was just a dream that Kim and Ron were having. According to WordOfGod however, the characters' ancestors really did exist.
* AnythingButThat: Drakken voices his disdain about having to stay at the time-share lair again when his regular lair is being fumigated.
* BlandNameProduct: Spark Rock candy is basically Pop Rocks.
* BlatantLies: Drakken claims that he had no idea how the termites infesting his lair became mutated. The exterminator sees through it.
* CallBack: The time-share lair, last seen in "Mind Games", makes a return.
* ChekhovsGun: Ron's Spark Rock candy not sparking when he first got it turns out to be a clue to where the Electrostatic Illuminator was.
* ContrivedCoincidence: A whole episode full of them. Ron lampshades it continuously throughout the episode.
* DeliberateValuesDissonance: The "mysterious masked warrior" displayed at the end of the episode is believed by some historians to be the true key to the many victories of the young gladiator Ronacus. However, the male hero Ronacus is the one who is honored for his victories against Dracus Maximus with a massive statue, whereas his female ally's name is forgotten to time, is relegated to a plaque, and her very involvement in Ronacus' victories isn't even a generally accepted consensus amongst historians given that the museum curator states that ''some'' say she was the true key to Ronacus' victories.
* DistinctionWithoutADifference: When his lair has to be fumigated for mutant termites for two weeks, he asks the exterminator if it'll be tented the entire time.
-->'''Exterminator''': Oh, no, out of the two weeks, the tent will only be up for, eh, fourteen days.\
'''Drakken''': Thank goodness...''(beat)'' Very funny.\
'''Exterminator''': Eh, I do what I can.
* EnergyAbsorption: The Electrostatic Illuminator absorbs ambient electrical energy and releases the stored power from a set timer. A few seconds unleashes a massive lightning bolt, the driving conflict once it's found to still exist is that the timer was set ''for a century''.
* EnhanceButton: Wade was able to digitally enhance his Uncle Wayne's blacked out photos to get proof of Mim's innocence, much to Wayne's [[DigitalDestruction disdain]].
* GenerationXerox: The main plot features parallel characters from a century ago; the closing scene presents museum exhibits showing ancient versions of Ron, Drakken, and Kim.
* HypocriticalHumor: Upon learning Dementor's real name is [=DeMenz=], Drakken is shocked that he uses a fake name. Shego then quips "Yeah, can you imagine...''Drew Lipsky''?".
* IdenticalGrandson / UncannyFamilyResemblance: Seven sets of them!
* LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain: This is what Drakken declares after Kim saves him and Shego from the exploding Electrostatic Illuminator.
* MuseumOfBoredom: Invoked by Mr. Barkin, who said that rather than focus on the intriguing parts of the Worlds' Fair, he was going to be talking about obscure names, dates, and places, much to the dismay of his class.
* NoodleIncident: Jon mentions that he once accidentally ate Inspector Barkin's pickled egg. Apparently, the Inspector was so irked about it that he wrote about the incident.
* RevisitingTheColdCase: Kim is determined to find the truth about the Electrostatic Illuminator case and clear her great great aunt Mim's name, something that becomes much more possible thanks to the advancement of technology that allows Wade to digitally enhance his Uncle Wayne's original photos. Narrowly avoids falling under ExtremelyColdCase due to Wayne being the last person involved with the case who is still alive.
* SleepCute: Kim and Ron are in this pose when Barkin wakes them up from their dream.
* SpookySeance: When Wade suggested Kim and Ron ask his uncle Wayne more about what happened, Ron replies he wasn't up for having one of these. Fortunately, Wayne was still alive...being ''110''.
* StrangeMindsThinkAlike: Even a hundred years apart, both Ron and Bartholomew Lipsky refer to the Electrostatic Illuminator as a "dingus".
* TermiteTrouble: Drakken's lair ends up being tented for two weeks due to a bunch of termites he mutated getting loose.
-->'''Exterminator:''' {{Mad scientist}}s. Always perverting nature in their twisted quest for power.
