Now that ''WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow'' has been canceled, Cleveland moves back to Quahog, and takes his family with him. But when Lois and Donna have a fight and forbid their husbands from being friends, Peter and Cleveland must set things right between the two.
----
!!Tropes associated with this episode include:
* BothSidesHaveAPoint: Lois and Donna both bring up good points in their feud. While Donna ''was'' in the wrong for spanking somebody else's child, Lois never disciplines her children, which allowed Chris to break a vase over Rallo's head. Keep in mind that Rallo is 5 years old.
* BrickJoke: Peter notes that he and Cleveland won every three-legged race except that time they lost to two guys who each had a leg missing so they ran like one person. Said guys beat them at the race.
* ButtMonkey: Rallo doesn't get the best treatment in all of his limited screen time:
** First, when he happily meets his {{Expy}} source Stewie for the first time, the latter rejects him and calls him a ''[[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks Boondocks]]'' rip-off, making Rallo walk away with a sad look on his face.
** Later, Chris initiates a game that involves smashing a vase over Rallo's head, leading Donna to spank Chris in response and commence the FeudEpisode plot. However, Donna spanked Chris [[SkewedPriorities more for breaking her vase at all]] rather than caring about how he foolhardily attacked her own youngest child with it. Rallo then becomes an afterthought for the rest of the episode.
* TheBusCameBack: Cleveland and Cleveland Jr. return, and they've brought along Donna, Roberta and Rallo from Stoolbend.
* ContinuityNod: Peter recalls how [[Recap/FamilyGuyS10E4StewieGoesForADrive Ryan Reynolds]] and [[Recap/FamilyGuyS8E3SpiesReminiscentOfUs Chevy Chase and Dan Aykroyd]] previously lived in Cleveland's house.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Happens several times.
** Donna spanks Chris (who isn't even her child) for breaking a vase.
** Lois and Donna get into a fight and forbid their husbands from seeing each other because of the incident, forcing them to see each other behind their wives' backs.
** When Peter and Cleveland are found out, Lois makes Peter sleep on the couch, while Cleveland gets a spanking from Donna.
* DumbassHasAPoint: Had Lois taken Peter's advice and calmed down before talking to Donna, there may be a lesser chance of her and Donna forbidding their husbands from being friends with each other.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Lois explains that she's never had to spank her children, and they're perfectly well-behaved. Then Donna points out that Stewie's on the roof.
-->'''Lois:''' Stewie! You get down from there now!\
'''Stewie:''' Munch me, bitch!\
'''Lois:''' Right now, Stewie, or you're in timeout!\
'''Stewie:''' How many gray pubes you pluck this morning!?
* EveryoneKnowsMorse: Peter and Cleveland, punished by their feuding wives for sneaking out, communicate with flashlight Morse Code and devise a plan to get said wives to become friends again.
* ExiledToTheCouch: Lois does this to Peter when she knows he's been hanging out with Cleveland behind her back.
* EvolvingCredits: Parodied. Cleveland stops the opening and replaces the poor Mort Goldman in the chorus line.
* FeudEpisode: Between Donna and Lois.
* InstantlyProvenWrong: Lois explains to Donna that her kids are always well-behaved. Cut to Stewie sitting on the roof and refusing to get down.
* MamaBear: Lois ''really'' didn't appreciate Donna spanking Chris.
* MisplacedRetribution: As well as [[DisproportionateRetribution going too far]] in disciplining their husbands, Lois and Donna's feud also involves this, since they forbid Peter and Cleveland from being friends because of their own issues with each other.
* MoodWhiplash: At the end of the episode, the guys toast Cleveland's return. Peter then tells Cleveland that not a single person stopped watching because he left.
-->'''Quagmire:''' ''[to Cleveland]'' You don't have the guts to say anything back.
** This goes even further in further in a deleted scene, where Peter [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech rakes Cleveland over the coals]] for his show going under.
-->'''Peter:''' Wipe that smile off your face! People left ''Family Guy'' to come work on your show. When the credits roll on your show, each name represents a life that is now destroyed. People lost their homes, spouses left, kids can't go to college, and it's all a ''joke'' to you? GROW UP.\
'''Cleveland:''' ''(clears throat)'' [[SelfDeprecation My show was terrible]].
* MoralGuardians: Peter attempts to exploit this trope to get Lois and Donna to reconcile. He says that women will band together to stop an offensive piece of art from being shown, so he sets up a canvas with pictures of baby penises to set them off, but Cleveland calls Peter out for being in possession of child pornography, and probably has for many years.
-->'''Cleveland:''' Peter, what are we doing here?\
'''Peter:''' Well, women will always band together to stop an offensive art exhibit from coming to town, so I've arranged for all my photos of baby wieners to be put on display.\
'''Peter:''' Ugh! Peter, I'm gonna have to call the police on this!\
'''Peter:''' What? Why? It's to get our wives back together!\
'''Peter:''' Peter, these are hundreds of naked babies in suggestive situations! And they're timestamped as far back as 1998, ''which is way before we had this idea!''\
'''Peter:''' ''(breaks down sobbing)'' ''I need help!''
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Peter breaks down crying, upon the realization that he is in possession of apparent child pornography.
* NoFourthWall: The episode is littered with references to the failure of ''The Cleveland Show''. Peter even comments that nobody stopped watching ''Family Guy'' because Cleveland left in the last lines of the episode.
* OverlyLongGag: Peter and Cleveland communicating with each other at night by using flashlight light code to communicate with each other, followed by Quagmire joining in to tell them to knock it off because his latest date has epilepsy (but then to keep going as the epileptic seizures are great for his bedroom performance).
* ParentingTheHusband: Both Lois and Donna ban their two fully grown husbands from seeing each other because of their feud and even spy on them to make sure they don't see each other as if they were their children.
* PoliceBrutality: One of the ways Peter tries to see Cleveland without the wives finding out is to dress up as a police officer and stop him for speeding. He proceeds to club him repeatedly. Joe (unaware of what's going on) shows up and joins in.
-->'''Cleveland:''' ''[delirious]'' Wow, the whole gang's back together.
* ThePowerOfFriendship: Peter and Cleveland spend most of the feud trying to sneak around behind Lois and Donna's backs, but confronted at the party and thinking of the good times they've had, they finally tell them off.
-->'''Cleveland:''' Peter's right. We're friends and this fight is stupid.
* PromotionToOpeningTitles: Parodied. The TitleSequence is interrupted so Cleveland can get in the line, with Mort being kicked out.
* ShipTease: Kevin and Meg working together during the three-legged race.
* ShoutOut: Included in the Peter/Cleveland montage is a clip of [[Series/MagnumPI Magnum and T.C.]].
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Donna does this several times to Lois (and by extension, the Griffin family) when Donna spanks Chris for breaking a vase and Lois confronts her about it.
** In a deleted scene Peter gives one to Cleveland regarding his spin off series and how it was a massive failure.
* TakeThat:
** The jokes about ''WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow'' being mediocre (the phallic logo, the mostly-white writers penning a show about a Black family, the lack of a coherent audience, Tim the Bear's voice actor being changed from Creator/SethMacFarlane to Jess Harnell, and losing in the ratings to ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'').
** Stewie calling Rallo a ''[[WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks Boondocks]]'' rip-off.
* TooKinkyToTorture: It is implied that Chris actually liked being spanked by Donna when he approaches her, drops his pants, and "wants to be spanked again" by her.
* UnexplainedRecovery: Peter gets the idea to make Lois and Donna bond by putting himself and Cleveland through a bad car accident. Cleveland ends up bandaged head to toe but is perfectly fine in the next scene.
