After watching a scene in a Western in which a cowboy becomes blood brothers with an Indian, Stewie convinces Brian do the same to him -- and Stewie ends up with herpes. Meanwhile, Peter, Quagmire, and Joe fight back against a crew of tough guys who have taken their favorite booth.
----
!!Examples:
* AbusiveParents: Peter whips Meg and Stewie with the whip he got from Quagmire's package.
* AdultsAreUseless: Neither Peter or Lois seem remotely concerned that Stewie and Chris have herpes.
* ArtisticLicenseMedicine: Herpes can't be contracted through blood. Additionally, while dogs can contract herpes, canine herpesvirus cannot infect humans.
* Bowdlerization: The following scenes were altered when shown on TV, but are shown uncut on Netflix and the DVD set:
** The cutaway of the coked-up giraffe working as a waiter at Studio 54: Robert Mapplethorpe's line to the giraffe on TV was "Can I take this fire extinguisher someplace interesting and take a picture?" On DVD and Netflix, it was changed to "Mind if I stick this fire extinguisher in you and take your picture?" (the latter line is more upfront about the AssShove than the former line).
** The Wizard of Oz cutaway: The TV version bleeps out The Cowardly Lion saying "Fuck you" to Dorothy, The Scarecrow, and The Tin Man and blurs out his flipping them the bird. The DVD and Netflix version, obviously, does not.
** Lois' line to Peter, "Please tell me this isn't still about how you punked out in front of those guys at The Clam" had "punked out" changed to "pussed out" on Netflix and DVD.
* BrickJoke: "Hey, Dad, that's a cool hwhip."
* ButtMonkey: Peter and friends cowering away from the guys who bullied them out of their booth earns them the scorn of the town and their families, who show zero sympathy towards their plight. Their attempt to take it back fails with them getting beat up. Even when they get the booth back, it's only because the guys who bullied them reveal themselves to be soldiers who are shipping back to duty the next day. Said guys are hailed as heroes, while Peter and the gang still get no respect.
* TheCameo: Cleveland appears briefly, as Joe calls to warn him about Peter getting a whip.
* ChekhovsGun: Averted. You'd think the whip would be this, but it's casually smacked out of Peter's hand and never brought up again.
* CowardiceCallout: Peter, Joe and Quagmire are given a lot of flak from the town and their families for refusing fighting back against the 3 guys who bullied them out of their booth.
* CurbStompBattle: The guys' battle for getting their booth back fails in spectacular fashion.
* Deconstruction: Peter, Joe and Quagmire are getting their asses handed to them in a fight. Peter attempts to even the playing fields with a can of spinach, ala WesternAnimation/Popeye. But it takes him a minute to get the can open and prop the lid up so he can get the spinach out (cutting his thumb in the process), and when he finally does eat the spinach, it's not very tasty and ultimately does nothing for him.
* EasilyForgiven: Perhaps too easily. All it takes was Brian saying he was sorry for Stewie to forgive him.
* ForgotAboutHisPowers: "Forgot About His Occupation" in this case, Joe could've arrested the soldiers for harassing and assaulting a cop.
* Hypocrite:
** Brian initially tries to shift the blame of where Stewie contracted herpes before Stewie exposes sores under his fur, and ultimately admits that he was too embarrassed about having herpes to admit to passing it on to Stewie and Chris, yet much of the episode in between is him callously trying to downplay their contraction of the disease as no big deal.
** Peter and his friends are vilified for trying to take their booth back when it turns out that the men who took it are soldiers, despite them getting scorn from people earlier for surrendering to them.
* Jerkass:
** Brian for keeping his herpes a secret from both Chris and Stewie.
** The soldiers who bully Peter and the gang.
* KarmaHoudini: The soldiers get away with bullying, making a laughingstock out of the guys, and even get away with beating them up after they impress the rest of the town by mentioning they were soldiers on leave who were due to report back for duty the next day, leaving Peter and the gang with still no respect even after they were just beaten up.
* KickTheDog: Brian remorselessly giving Stewie and Chris herpes for no reason and downplaying it when the former confronts him on it.
* KleptomaniacHero: "Hero" is stretching it, but after one of the soldiers knocks the whip out of Peter's hand, he pulls out a taser, planning to zap the guy, only for that to get knocked away too before Peter pulls out a Hawaiian shirt to asphyxiate him with, with Quagmire shouting at Peter to quit stealing his mail.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Stewie and Chris make Brian pay for giving them herpes by making sure everybody knows he's got it, really screwing up his life.
* MadeOutToBeAJerkass: Peter, Quagmire and Joe actually manage stand up to the three men, only to get vilified by the patrons after the men reveal themselves to be soldiers.
* MortonsFork: News of Peter, Quagmire and Joe getting bullied out of their booth by another trio manages to reach all of Quahog, everyone losing their respect for them. This prompts the trio into fighting back, only to get the crap knocked out of them. The bully trio then reveal themselves to be veterans set for deployment the next day and are praised for their service, with Peter, Quagmire and Joe remaining pariahs for confronting them.
* OverlyLongGag: Peter trying to open the can of spinach.
* PowerUpFood: Subverted. Peter tries to open a can of spinach to get the strength to fight the thugs, but it takes a minute to open and does nothing for him.
--> Peter: Oh God, it's all watery.
* RootingForTheEmpire: InUniverse, after getting harassed by American soldiers and said soldiers getting away with it.
-->Peter: I can't believe I have to root for UsefulNotes/Afghanistan now.
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections: The three men end up getting a pass by the patrons because they turned out to be American soldiers.
* SelectiveGravity: Peter tests out his new whip by trying to whip a cigarette out of Meg's mouth. Instead, the whip hits Meg, and the cigarette remains floating in midair.
-->Peter: All right, that's pretty cool too!
* ShareTheSickness: Brian shares his blood with Stewie and Chris despite knowing full well that he had herpes.
* WhamLine: "Why are we even bothering with these idiots? We're shipping off to Afghanistan tomorrow."
* TheWorfEffect: Joe, Quagmire, and Peter all can hold on their own in a fight, but got their butts kicked easily by the bullies who happened to be soldiers.
* YankTheDogsChain: In a deleted scene, Brian reveals to an attractive woman he's dating that he has herpes. The woman tells him that she doesn't mind as long as they're careful and that she loves him. Brian is so moved that he tries to propose to her, only for Stewie to shoot her in the head, refusing to allow Brian to be happy after what he did to him.
-->Stewie: [offscreen] You're gonna die alone, you DICK.
