!!Tropes:
* AdaptationDecay: George finds out that the film version of ''Film/BreakfastAtTiffanys'' changed a number of details, which gives away the fact he didn't read the book, such as the UnresolvedSexualTension between Holly and "Fred" (renamed Paul in the movie), when he was actually AmbiguouslyGay in the book.
* CallBack: Kramer came up with the idea of customers baking their own pizza in "Male Unbonding."
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Kramer and Poppie's argument about whether a pizza is a pizza "once it comes out of the oven" or "the moment you put your fists in the dough" echoes real-life debates on the abortion issue (which is also mentioned in the episode).
* HatesReading: George joins a book club to impress his GirlOfTheWeek, but can't bring himself to actually read ''Literature/BreakfastAtTiffanys'', so he tries to cheat by watching the film adaptation. HilarityEnsues.
* HollywoodGenetics: The daughter of the family George tries to watch the movie with is quite a bit darker than either her father or mother.
* {{Jerkass}}: Jerry, even more than usual in this episode. He brings up the abortion issue at Poppie's restaurant and causes Elaine and several nearby guests to storm out in protest. Not only did Jerry do this on a total whim, he seemed to delight in the chaos that ensued. Later, he indirectly ruins Elaine's new relationship when he asks her what her boyfriend's views on abortion are; she's forced to break up with him once she learns he's also pro-life.
* PlayingSick: When George goes over to Joe's apartment, and the latter asks why he didn't read the book instead, he cooks up a story about him having pink-eye and having his vision being too blurry to read.
* PottyFailure: Jerry believes Poppie accidentally peed on his couch.
* ThisIsMyChair: When George gets back from the kitchen, Joe's daughter, Remy, takes over the part of the couch where George was sitting, resulting in him fighting over the spot, ending with him spilling grape juice over the couch and George being thrown out.
* WhamLine: When George gets a number of details wrong about ''Literature/BreakfastAtTiffanys'' (which were changed for the movie), revealing he didn't read the book, his girlfriend drops one:
