->''You three have been screwing around on Earth this whole [[PrecisionFStrike fucking]] time? [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe Without human disguises]]?!''
-->-- '''Loona'''

When Blitzo's ex-girlfriend Verosika Mayday steals his parking spot, [[RunningGag things sure do happen]] - in this case, he makes a bet that his group can kill more people than Verosika's can screw; winner gets the parking space for a week while she's there.
----
!! "Spring Broken" contains examples of...
* ActuallyPrettyFunny: Blitzo threatening to call [=HR=] causes him, Vortex and Verosika to break out laughing despite their mutual animosity.
* AllThereInTheScript: As revealed in [[https://archive.vn/iHKsO a tweet]] by a character designer of the show, [[https://archive.vn/iHKsO/df1a3cac5b8c8f90f2291c9a92e552380df11e8b.jpg Verosika's crew]] and a number of [[https://archive.vn/iHKsO/98d11310d46c8fcad75777dc474f47c551916ed6.jpg background humans]] featured in the episode actually have names despite not being identified as such in the episode itself. Two of them (Coco and Apple, both female) were also confirmed as a couple.
* AmbiguouslyBi:
** I.M.P is shown killing several women during their murder montage, and Loona had been luring their male victims to them through offers of sex. It's not shown if she did the same for their female victims.
** Likewise, Verosika lures other humans into an orgy with her fellow demons. It's not fully certain of each human's sexual preference, with one male human attracted to a male demon as an example, but it's implied that her MagicMusic inducing lust in everybody likely is lessening everybody's inhibitions enough that whatever their usual sexual orientation happens to be is irrelevant.
** Two of Verosika's posse, Coco and Apple, are confirmed to be girlfriends, but both are shown seducing guys. Whether they swing both ways or [[PragmaticPansexuality were just doing it to help their boss win the bet]] is unclear.
* AmbiguousSituation: It's not clear if Blitzo was involved with Verosika before or after she became famous. The other members of I.M.P ask him about it, but he dodges the question.
* ArtShift: Blitzo's initial "plan" to win the bet is done in a crude pencil sketch style with a white crumpled paper background.
* AsideGlance: After Blitzo states he doesn't want Loona to go up to the human world because of the "freaks" that drool all over goth girls like her, all the members of I.M.P glare at the camera.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: While Blitzo's affection and protectiveness over Loona are nothing new, Loona's tough exterior cracks towards Blitzo a little, particularly after she seems to hurt his feelings.
* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: The spring breakers confuse Moxxie for an opossum. What do they do with that information? Stuff him in a beer keg, toss it around for a bit, then abandon him when they get bored. He's only let out by Millie, and by then is too drunk to function. Had that been a real opossum, it would have most likely drowned, suffocated, or died of alcohol poisoning. That they would do that to an innocent animal can make it hard to pity them for being caught up in Blitzo and Verosika's wager.
* BlahBlahBlah: As Moxxie tries to explain to Blitzo that maybe a more diplomatic approach is need for dealing with Verosika and her crew and he considers himself most fit for a said approach, Blitzo just keeps angrily staring at Verosika's office door while Moxxie's voice is muffled and mostly drowned out by a loud dial tone.
* TheBet: Refusing to wait for an entire week while Verosika steals his parking space, Blitzo invokes this. The challenge involves whether I.M.P can kill more humans or if Verosika can invoke more humans into having sex with her crew by the end of the day. While it seems that Verosika's methods will allow her to win, she eventually forfeits the bet when Millie blackmails the demon's connection to a monster attack caused by her flask.
* BigBeautifulWoman: Milky, a member of Verosika's posse, is on the chubby side, but she's still attractive enough to be very effective at her lust-inducing job as a succubus.
* BigDamnHeroes: Millie single-handedly kills a giant, mutated fish while saving a drunk Moxxie.
* BirdsOfAFeather:
** Loona develops a crush on Vortex, another Hellhound employed by a wacky demon who works in her company building. While Loona and Vortex's bosses are at odds, neither is personally invested in the feud.
--->'''Vortex:''' [Verosika's] beef ain't mine. I'm not paid enough to care.
** Defied with [[https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EtLtZVXXEAs5RU6?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 Josh]], [[AllThereInTheManual one of Verosika's lackies]]. During Verosika's aphrodisiac song, Josh, another pale goth with silver hair, comes onto Loona. However, she just rolls her eyes and [[OffhandBackhand offhand-backhands]] him before approaching Tex.
* BittersweetEnding: I.M.P wins the bet with Verosika but Loona is heartbroken due to learning Tex has a girlfriend and she and Blitzo don't reconcile after their fight.
* {{Blackmail}}: Millie forces Verosika to forfeit TheBet with I.M.P by blackmailing Verosika with her flask being connected to a fish monster attack, which would cause her to lose credibility as a star and get her and her crew in ''serious'' trouble with the authorities in Hell.
* BlackComedyRape: When Moxxie tries negotiating with Verosika for I.M.P's parking space, the pop star and her crew of succubi and incubi decide to attack the imp. He then comes out from her office, completely shaken and exhausted and covered in scratches and [[LipstickMark lipstick marks]], heavily implying that Mox was just sexually assaulted. The assault itself isn't directly shown and the entire matter is mainly played for BlackComedy, complete with Moxxie and Blitzo's reactions.
-->'''Moxxie:''' Don't touch that! \
'''Blitzo:''' Moxxie, don't let her access any of your holes! \
[...]\
'''Moxxie:''' I... I gotta go lie down... now.
** [[DownplayedTrope That being said,]] Blitzo takes it seriously, as the above quote was delivered in a legitimately frightened tone, and the assault is the final straw that motivates him to challenge Verosika in the first place.
** The episode ends with Verosika telling her gang, including Tex who isn't a sex demon, to prepare to "suck a lot of pig dick" to get them out of jail, to which they all seem uncomfortable.
* BlackmailBackfire: After the monster's defeat, Verosika points out that I.M.P didn't handle the attack in a way that maintains the {{masquerade}}, only for Millie to fire back that it was Verosika's flask that started the mess. Verosika nervously tries to say that most of I.M.P weren't in {{human disguise}}s, only for Moxxie to point out the humans were too drunk to recognize the crew as demons. Verosika has no choice but to concede defeat.
* BookEnds: Verosika [[FlippingTheBird flips off]] Blitzo twice with one hand at the start of the episode. Blitzo flips her back with both hands at the end of it.
* BothSidesHaveAPoint: It becomes apparent that neither Blitz or Verosika have any moral high ground over the other. On Verosika's part, she has every right to be mad at her ex for his excessive stealing, especially because said ex didn't even bother to make up or apologize for it, fully expecting her to just "let it go". On Blitz's part, however, she is clearly no saint. As a succubus, she does enjoy her lust-inducing job on humans, has a bad drinking addiction, stole their only parking spot that they were fairly given by the building, and doesn't hesitate to harass the other IMP employees as well.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Blitzo makes a comment on how many "freaks" drool over people like Loona before he and the other IMP members give a cold look straight at the camera for several moments.
* BrickJoke: Moxxie sarcastically tells Blitzo to seek an art class after being insulted. We later see Blitzo post a badly drawn advertisement, proving Moxxie's point.
* TheCameo:
** Among the line of clients seen at the poster Blitzo made, one of them that's seen briefly is Travis from ''WesternAnimation/HazbinHotel''.
** Creator/EdwardBosco, one of the stars of ''WesternAnimation/HazbinHotel'', cameos as one of the drunk revelers, as does Jinkx Monsoon, who played Martha in Episode 1.
* ChekhovsGun: Verosika's alcohol flask. She's near constantly drinking from it, but in a spur of the moment she tosses it at the crowd, causing it to fall into the water and create a mutant fish monster that attacks the beach, which is used to blackmail her.
* ContrivedCoincidence: All of I.M.P's targets happen to be on a ''single beachfront''.
* CoveredInKisses: It's unclear what happened to Moxxie while confronting Verosika, but it ended up with him covered in bruises and lipstick. It could very well chalk up to sexual assault as Moxxie is shaken and wants to rest after just escaping the chaos of a failed negotiation with Verosika's crew.
* CreatorCameo: The line that forms around Blitzo's flyer includes a number of imps that are actually the [[https://archive.is/LEAo6 impsonas]] [[https://archive.is/IV2LU of]] [[https://archive.is/N9lPn the]] [[https://archive.is/JeLQg crew]] [[https://archive.is/Ivj8T that]] worked on the series and related projects. Among them notably is [[Creator/VivienneMedrano Vivziepop's]] own impsona who like her appearance in "Loo Loo Land" is seen from behind once again.
* CrowdPanic: The beachgoers panic and run for their lives once the giant fish monster shows up.
* CrushFilter: On one scene, Loona sees Vortex with the same rosy, sparkling effect that's used when Verosika's crew of succubi and incubi are using their charm powers.
* ADayInTheLimelight: This episode focuses more on Loona than the previous installments did, with her only having a scant few minutes of screen-time during Episode 1 and getting an off-screen voice cameo in Episode 2.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: Blitzo catches himself after saying this:
-->'''Blitzo:''' If you're gonna be shitty to my employees, then I challenge you to a fucking… ''challenge''! ''[{{Beat}}]'' Fuck, I said that twice.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Verosika's gang sexually assault and terrify Moxxie because of his heinous crime of asking them politely to move their car. Downplayed as it's implied they also did it to upset Blitzo more than actually caring about the car thing.
* DissonantSerenity: While everyone else is panicking over the arrival of the fish monster, Moxxie reacts to it with complete calm, and even laughs as the thing pulls him into its mouth and tries to eat him. {{Justified|Trope}} by the fact that he is too drunk to recognize the danger he's in.
* DistractedByTheSexy: During Verosika's aphrodisiac song, Loona becomes too starstruck over Vortex to help Blitzo find human targets on the list. When Blitzo asks if a random human vomiting from drinking too much is on the list, she gives a distracted, "Yeah, I guess so" while mooning over Vortex.
* EldritchTransformation: {{Downplayed}}. A catfish drinks a flask of booze that literally came from Hell, and is transformed into a gigantic, man- (or imp)-eating monster with massive teeth, a prehensile tongue and legs which enable it to come ashore. It can still feel pain and can still die if you have a knife and you're as tough as Millie, though.
* EroticEating: During Verosika's song, Milky, the short member of the popstar's posse, seductively licks a popsicle in front of a human, propositioning him very blatantly.
* EverybodyHasStandards:
** Blitzo may push Moxxie around all the time (and stalk him and Millie outside work), but even he takes exception to Verosika and her lackeys essentially sexually assaulting Moxxie just for asking them nicely to return I.M.P's parking space.
** Moxxie reminds everyone that as much as they need to win the bet for the parking space, they can't just go up to Earth and start murdering people for no reason. Their business dictates that they need someone to hire them to assassinate specific targets. What's more, they need enough clients with enough total targets to satisfy the quota necessary to win. Blitzo actually agrees with him and puts up an ad in order to attract more clients.
** Despite Blitzo's hostile attitude towards him, Vortex shows a little compassion for the imp, after Loona blew up at him.
** Despite being succubi or incubi, save for Vortex who is a hellhound, neither Verosika nor any of her crew look pleased at the prospect of trading sexual favors with cops to avoid being arrested.
* EvilIsPetty:
** Whatever relationship Verosika and Blitzo had before the series began ended on bad terms, leading them to some SnarkToSnarkCombat when they cross paths again. Verosika takes every chance to spite Blitzo from the start. The succubus steals his parking space, stationed her office right across I.M.P's (though Vortex claims it's because it's "cheaper" and the above floors were occupied), assaults Moxxie, and displays the words "FUCK YOU BLITZO" on stage during her concert on Earth.
** Many humans die, or are at risk of an [=STD=], because of Blitzo and Verosika's bet over I.M.P's parking space.
* FacePlant:
** Happens to Blitzo when he's climbing out of the van during his initial confrontation with Verosika in the parking lot.
** Moxxie later faceplants in front of Verosika and her crew while drunk in the human world, leaving a face print in the sand. He then drops his face ''back'' in the same spot after insisting that he is "not a possum".
* FelonyMisdemeanor: The end of the episode sees Verosika and her crew getting arrested by a small army of cops, not for anything to do with the giant {{Kaiju}} fish attack or the dozens of beach-goers killed by I.M.P, but for ''public indecency''.
* FlippingTheBird:
** Verosika flips off Blitzo twice after their SnarkToSnarkCombat.
** Before the portal back to hell closes, Blitzo jumps out of it one more time to flip off Verosika with both hands, while grinning. Her back is turned while he's doing it but, as she can practically ''sense'' it happening, her grimace says everything.
* ForgotAboutHisPowers: Loona reminds the rest of I.M.P that they have to transform into humans while doing their job as assassins. Since they don't have access to this ability, the imps bring Loona along because ''she'' can use hers as a HoneyTrap against unsuspecting humans.
* ForTheEvulz: Subverted. Verosika rents an office right across I.M.P's, not out of spite, but because it was cheaper compared to the other occupied floors in the complex, according to Vortex. Blitzo is still not happy about it.
* FreezeFrameBonus: There are several blink-and-miss-it moments in the episode:
** One of the signs near the parking lot I.M.P uses says "Buck you Flitzo". Also, the sign saying that you need five dollars to enter the lot has been crossed out and the bar at the vehicle gate is broken.
** There's also a ''ton'' of graffiti around the parking lot, including "Why Won't You Love Meeeee, Valentino?" "Stinky Boi," "[[WebVideo/Jerma985 We're the Rats]]," "Sweat Work," "I.M.P. is a Scam," a picture of a cat in a watermelon slice with the word "Melon" inside, and an inverse symbol similar to the one on Blitzo's forehead with the word "HORSE" beside it. There's also a billboard for holy water in the back: "Now with 32% more piss."
** After Verosika blows Blitzo off about the stolen parking spot, the I.M.P company van's lower back window can be seen having family window stickers on it, only made to resemble Blitzo, Loona, Moxxie, and Millie.
** Travis, Angel Dust's patron from the ''WesternAnimation/HazbinHotel'' pilot, shows up in the crowd looking to take advantage of I.M.P's Spring Break discount.
** When Verosika and her crew are being arrested, one of the cops is actually a ''clown'' with a balloon police baton. There's also what looks like a bomb squad robot with a fake set of eyes, rabbit ears, and a tail stuck to it.
** When Blitzo is talking to Loona, he holds up a [[StylisticSuck piece of paper with a crude drawing on it]]. The drawing basically says "Killing people = money. Money = horse."
** The shop signs and billboards around the beach include a few creative ones. Besides a general store, hotel, and antique shop, there's an ice cream shop called "Sea Cream," a juice place called "Dagon's Juice," a pawn shop called "Pawn Paradise," and a pizzaria called "Pico Puncho' Pizza."
** When Loona is talking to Vortex, a billboard behind her head pictures a cologne bottle shaped like a fire extinguisher, with a slogan "Extinguish the Heat with EVERSNUFF: The New Fragrance." Double significant as Loona has the hots for Vortex, lets slip that she finds his name "hot," then back-pedals that she means that literally, since vortexes give off heat. (Doubles as {{foreshadowing}}, as he later turns out to be taken.) The billboard appears again when Loona and Blitzo blow up at each other, as their tempers flare.
** When Moxxie and Millie decide to "get shit done, making the money" and go on their killing spree, when they jump from one building to the next, a billboard behind them reads, "NOTICE ME, SENPAI (T^T)"
* FreudianSlip: Loona ''nearly'' calls Blitzo "dad" for the first time when she's feeling embarrassed:
-->'''Loona:''' ''Shut up, Da-!''\
''[Blitzo looks delighted at what she was about to say.]''\
'''Loona:''' ''[frustrated groan]'' -Blitzo!
* FriendlessBackground: While flirting with Vortex, Loona admits to not having any friends. In the end, Vortex decides to invite her to one of his girlfriend's future hellhound party to fix this.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: The name of the 'big fuckin canoe' in the [[StylisticSuck drawings of Blitzo's original plan]] ''SS Cum Guttter''. The random Goose also counts.
* HoneyTrap: Blitzo has Loona use her human form to lure in targets with the offer of alleyway sex. She's willing to help, though being the overprotective dad that he is, they die before they can even touch her.
* HopeSpot: Loona attempts to flirt with Vortex and it seems she has a chance with him... until he mentions that he has a girlfriend, causing Loona to instantly deflate.
* HumanDisguise: Demons on Earth are ''supposed'' to use one of these, though Loona is the only member of I.M.P who shows the ability in the episode. Whether the others are unable or just forgot/prefer not to do it is unclear, seeing as how Verosika and her crew also have human disguises on Earth.
* HypocriticalHeartwarming: Blitzo is rude to Moxxie all the time, and takes Verosika's insults in stride, but when Verosika and her posse basically sexually assault Moxxie, Blitzo is [[ThisMeansWar so furious]] that he challenges her to a [[TheBet Demon Duel]] on the spot. However, Blitzo threatened to "''fuck''" Moxxie (and by extension, Millie) if he ever screws up again in "Murder Family", which could very well be a LiteralMetaphor.
-->'''Blitzo:''' Oh, [[ThisMeansWar this won't]] [[SuddenlyShouting STAND]]!
* HypocriticalHumor: When the rest of I.M.P ask Blitzo questions about when he dated Verosika, he hedges by saying he doesn't pry into ''their'' personal lives. They collectively disagree, as the pilot shows that he has NoSenseOfPersonalSpace.
* IAmNotWeasel: Moxxie doesn't like being called a possum, at least while drunk.
* InstantlyProvenWrong: Blitzo's idea of attracting customers is an one crudely drawn flyer attached to the pole. The second Moxxie finished calling Blitzo out on this, the large crowd of potential customers gathered together looking at the flyer. Blitzo happily rub it in Moxxie's face.
* IntercourseWithYou: Verosika's song "Vacay to Bone Town", as can be inferred from the title, is all about using sex to relax.
* KillItThroughItsStomach: Millie slices open the demon mutant catfish's throat from the inside.
* LameComeback:
** When Blitzo demands Verosika remove her car from his parking space or he'll... Vortex growls from behind him, "You'll what?" Blitzo [[VerbalBackspace stammers for a bit]], before concluding that he'll [[NoSuchThingAsHR call HR]]. This causes all three of them to [[ActuallyPrettyFunny burst out laughing]].
** In response to Blitzo's insult of him, Moxxie tells his boss to take an art class. This causes Blitzo to scream about how expensive they are, implying that he's tried to go to art classes in the past.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Verosika tries to outdo Blitzo by enthralling the crowd of her concert to start a massive orgy. However, in the heat of the moment she carelessly throws her flask that contains enchanted alcohol from Hell into the crowd. It gets dumped into the ocean, where the booze leaks out and transforms a catfish into an EldritchAbomination that kills several people and nearly breaks TheMasquerade they were trying to keep. Not only does this give I.M.P leverage to blackmail the succubi by threatening to expose them for this, but Verosika and her crew get arrested by the police in the mortal realm for starting said orgy.
* LoveAtFirstSight: Loona falls head over heels for Vortex the second she lays eyes on him. She gets a CrushBlush near him and wags her tail. When meeting up on Earth, Loona resorts to GibberishOfLove and stammering over her words.
* LoveObstructingParents: Blitzo gets in Loona's way when she chats with Vortex. "Conversation leads to HPV!"
* {{Masquerade}}: The way Loona angrily calls out the imps for screwing around on Earth without a HumanDisguise, it's implied that Hell wants to avoid mortals realizing it exists and that demons are ''supposed'' to pose as humans to blend in. The fact that I.M.P either forgot this or never got disguises convinces them to bring Loona along as a HoneyTrap. At a few points it looks like I.M.P will end up [[BrokenMasquerade exposing themselves for not being disguised]], but Blitzo [[LeaveNoWitnesses kills everyone who sees him]], while Moxxie is only [[SubvertedTrope mistaken for an opossum]] because the Spring-Break-partying are too drunk to recognize Moxxie as a demon. It's Verosika who nearly breaks the masquerade thanks to the flask of Beelze-juice she accidentally dumps into the ocean, creating a giant sea monster that attacks the beach. I.M.P uses this as blackmail to force her to concede the bet.
** At one point, one very drunk spring break party goer asks Blitzo if he is a leprechaun. Later when Blitzo [[PapaWolf tries to break up the conversation between Loona and Vortex]], Loona berates him for being out in the open, and several party goers glance behind them, the masquerade seemingly over . . . and then they ignore him and go back to enjoying the concert. At this point it seems to have become something of a RunningGag that most humans who see the I.M.P crew are either too stupid to put two and two together and realize how truly unnatural they are, or [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight just honestly couldn't care less that they are looking at freakish demon people.]]
* MassOhCrap: All the named characters react with dismay at the sight of the fish monster rising out of the ocean—except for Moxxie, who is too drunk to realize the danger.
* MistakenForDog:
** When exposed, some humans think Moxxie is a possum. Lucky for I.M.P that most of those people are too drunk to care.
** Another person mistakes Blitzo for a leprechaun, though Blitzo [[LeaveNoWitnesses finishes him off before he can tell anyone]].
* MyGodYouAreSerious: Downplayed. When Blitzo makes a bet that Verosika and her crew can't fuck as many people as I.M.P can kill by the end of the day, the succubi all start laughing. However, once Verosika realizes that Blitzo is serious about the challenge, she accepts.
* NoodleIncident: Verosika mentions that Blitzo left her with a supposedly hefty hotel bill, took her car "three rings to Wrath" and had her credit cards maxed out for "shitty horse-riding lessons". It was an oddly specific OnceDoneNeverForgotten incident that Blitzo hates being brought up, but it was implied a primary reason why their relationship ended as bad as it did.
-->'''Blitzo:''' Goddammit whore, you will ''not'' let that go!
* NoSuchThingAsHR: When Verosika refuses to surrender I.M.P's parking spot, Blitzo prepares to make a threat. When Vortex shows up behind him, Blitzo specifies to call H.R., prompting him, Verosika, and Vortex to [[ActuallyPrettyFunny burst out laughing together]]; the idea of a human resources department in Hell is such a silly concept that they briefly drop the animosity to laugh at it.
* OffhandBackhand: Loona does this to a guy who gets too fresh with her during Verosika's concert.
* PaintTheTownRed: When they decide to clear out the list of targets themselves Moxxie and Millie skip hand-in-hand into a building, which then releases a tidal wave of blood.
* ParkingPayback: The entire plot of the episode gets started because Verosika used her higher connections to "borrow" I.M.P's only parking spot for a week solely to piss off Blitzo. After diplomatic efforts to get it back peacefully fail, Blitzo makes TheBet that if his group can kill more people in a day than her's can fuck, she'd give him the parking spot.
* RageBreakingPoint: While Blitzo was already pissed at Verosika and her entourage for stealing his company's parking space and setting up shop in the office across from his, what makes him lose it entirely is them assaulting Moxxie.
* SheCleansUpNicely: Blitzo gives an inverted response to Loona's human form, saying she looks "awful". However, he says this more by human standards and is still proud of her.
* ShoutOut:
** Among the graffiti seen in the parking lot is one that says "[[https://archive.is/rCxq4/8f2af40d9675ff1f5f2c51ec0f7ffa9f72b8b69c.jpg SHARPAY OUR SAVIOUR]]". As confirmed in [[https://archive.is/rCxq4 a tweet]] by a background artist of the show, this is a reference to Sharpay from ''Film/HighSchoolMusical''.
** When Blitzo tosses Millie the keys to the van, she makes a pose that looks like a jump in ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'', complete with a similar sound effect.
** One of the restaurants across from the beach is named "Literature/{{Dagon}}'s Juice". The logo even features a sea monster for a mascot.
** When Millie says that Moxxie would want to know what sex with Michael Crawford is like, a bit of the Leitmotif from ''Theatre/ThePhantomOfTheOpera'' can be heard
* ShownTheirWork: Loona's ability to find the targets on their list just by smell could possibly be a nod to some legends stating that hellhounds will seek out specific victims in order to drag them to Hell.
* SingleMaltVision: When Moxxie gets drunk, he asks Millie why she has four heads.
* SnarkToSnarkCombat: Verosika and Blitzo get into it when Verosika takes Blitzo's parking spot early in the episode.
-->'''Blitzo:''' I should have known you'd be here. I could smell fish for miles, which is odd, because I believe the nearest ocean is ''[[[FacePlant face plants]] out of van]'' three rings down!\
'''Verosika:''' And I should have known you'd be here when I heard the Amber Alerts.\
'''Blitzo:''' Oh yeah? I'm surprised they let your fat ass out of rehab. I can see you're still a drunken whore, clutching onto that Beelze-juice bottle like it's the last cock in Hell!\
'''Verosika:''' [[ScrewTheRulesImFamous They let me out because I'm still famous]]. And rehab is for sad loser wash-ups. ''[drinks from flask]'' So, your sister says "hi".
* StealthPun:
** Verosika Mayday had her workplace marked with just her initials: "V.M". This just so happens to be the initials of '''V'''ivienne '''M'''edrano, the series creator.
** The song that Blitzo sings along to, and apparently loves is called ''Mustang Dong'', and if Stolas is to be believed this probably is an apt description of Blitzo himself.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Kiki, one of the succubi in Verosika's entourage, is wearing a transparent mesh shirt with only a pair of black heart-shaped pasties covering her nipples.
* TakeThatAudience: Blitzo initially refuses to let Loona go up to the surface because spring break would have a lot of "freaks [on Earth] who would drool all over" the sight of people like her. Cue I.M.P all collectively glaring with disapproval at the camera, directly calling out [some] fans of the show and [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom "furries"]] (fans with a preference for anthropomorphic animal characters) who have supposedly taken more liking to her than necessary.
* TemptingFate:
** In order to attract enough clients, Blitzo decides on advertising a 50% Spring Break discount for I.M.P's services, hoping it will allow them to kill more than enough targets and win the challenge. But in his usual lazy and half-assed style, Blitzo's entire advertisement campaign for the discount is putting up all of ''one'' hand drawn flyer on a random lamppost. Moxxie tells Blitzo that no one would read his "poorly spelled, bad grammar flyer". [[InstantlyProvenWrong Cue a line of demons and sinners arriving to take advantage.]]
** While killing people as part of the bet, Blitzo comments he'd like to see Verosika seduce this many people. Cue Verosika showing up at the same beach performing a live show and her crew doing just that.
* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Verosika and her crew get arrested for instigating an orgy, and Verosika says that they'll have to "suck a lot of pig dick" in order to get out of it. None of them are happy about it.
* TongueTrauma: During her fight with the fish monster, Millie cuts off part of its tongue.
* {{Touche}}: When Moxxie gets mad at Millie for asking Blitzo what sex with Verosika was like, she points out that he'd want to know what sex with Creator/MichaelCrawford was like. This is his response.
* VerbalBackspace: Loona has one while still starstruck over Verosika. She almost calls Blitzo "Dad", but catches herself and calls him by his first name instead.
--> '''Loona:''' Shut up, Da-- URGH! ''Blitz!''
* VillainOfTheWeek: Verosika Mayday and her posse of succubi/incubi.
* VillainSong: Verosika sings a song called "Vacay to Bonetown" to get the crowd of spring-breakers in the mood. Blitzo implies that it's also MindControlMusic.
* WasTooHardOnHim: Loona feels this way after arguing with Blitzo, though she believes he will get over it.
* WhamLine:
** Even though Blitzo ''did'' adopt Loona, it wasn't until she was nearly an adult. Loona says "I was almost eighteen!" when she speaks of her adoption.
** For most of the episode, it looks like Loona and Vortex are going to hit it off. But near the end, he says: "my girlfriend throws some crazy hound parties".
* WhatDoesSheSeeInHim: Loona, Moxxie, and Millie are shocked that Blitzo dated Verosika, though they wonder if it's before or after she became famous. Moxxie, especially, wonders if she suffered some form of blindness or brain damage because their boss is such a jerkass.
* YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: Loona can't believe that her father and co-workers have been going up to Earth this whole time without human disguises.
* YourMom: Verosika gives a "sister" variant to Blitzo.
-->'''Verosika:''' Rehab is for sad loser wash-ups. So your sister says "hi".
* YoureNotMyFather: During an argument, Loona says this to Blitzo, biologically speaking, since she was adopted.
-->'''Blitzo:''' It still counts!
