* ''Manga/{{Basilisk}}'': [[BigBad Tenzen]] firmly believes that the best and only way to submit a woman is by [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil raping her]]. He's also convinced that "rape is love" and thus has two [[AttemptedRape rape attempts]] on Oboro.
* Adon Corborlwitz from ''Manga/{{Berserk}}'' mainly existed to be a sexist asshole and antagonize Casca.
* ''Anime/TheBigO'': Alex Rosewater's treatment of and attitude towards people who live outside [[MegaCity the Domes]] absolutely ''reeks'' of classism, with him dismissing them as expendable peasants not worth the troubling of protecting. Some offhand comments on his part also make it clear [[StayInTheKitchen he views women as beneath men]], a quality that the ever-chivalrous Roger finds particularly infuriating.
* ''Manga/BlackLagoon'':
** Chaka's already a grade-A {{jerkass}}, and just to make him even moreso, he's also shown to be homophobic, such as calling Rock a "faggot" multiple times for interrupting him hitting on Revy, and violently misogynistic, such as insulting and berating a woman as well as threatening violence towards her for having dared interrupt a meeting between Hotel Moscow and the Washimine Clan with a phone call.
** Revy herself has been shown to be rather racist, such as calling a gravely-injured Hispanic FARC mercenary a "beaner" before shooting him dead, to calling Shenhua a "chink" in the manga and using the nickname [[AsianSpeekeeEngrish "Chinglish"]] for her in the anime's English dub ([[NWordPrivileges despite the fact that she is also of Chinese descent]]).
* ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'':
** [[HeManWomanHater Nnoitra]] is openly sexist. He mocks the more highly ranked Harribel as "scared" when she reacts with concern to Ichigo's invasion of Hueco Mundo. In the past, he attacked Nelliel because she was a woman who was ranked higher than him. He loathed the idea of a woman having a higher position than a man on the battlefield and went to great lengths to plot her removal from the Espada ranks.
** [[GodEmperor Yhwach]] - unsurprisingly, given how heavily his realm and philosophy are based on militaristic Christian fascism - openly uses arrancar as shock troops, explaining to a subordinate's query that they're disposable and easily replaced. He's only using them because they don't need training to fight, so he really doesn't care how long they last before they die. He also performs ThePurge on any Quincy he regards as "impure" or no longer useful. [[spoiler:This caused the deaths of Masaki and Kanae, Ichigo and Uryuu's mothers, and destroys other Quincies in the final arc.]]
* ''Manga/BrutalSatsujinKeisatsukanNoKokuhaku'': The villains in the manga that Dan brutally murders are genuinely awful people, more often than not with a hefty side of misoginy. Most of their victims are women, subjected to crimes like sexual assault, domestic violence, and murder. Especial props in this go to Rintaro Fuwa, who murders a woman for feeling insulted she wouldn't accept his money, feeling that a woman like her, a struggling single mother, has no right to talk back to a man.
* This is a major reason why Nina of ''Franchise/CodeGeass'' was considered TheScrappy. Despite the fact that it would be safe to assume that some Britannians are racists, she's the only major character to hold such opinions and thus comes across badly. Though she originally doesn't tout any personal supremacy, she's "just" paranoid that any Eleven might be a terrorist. Later, after [[spoiler:Princess Euphemia's death]] she becomes rather unhinged, and starts considering the use of [[FantasticNuke a weapon that's for all thoughts and purposes a nuke]] against one man. Supplementary material says she once got lost in a Japanese ghetto as a child and ''something'' horrible happened to her there, [[FreudianExcuse explaining her general fear of Japanese people]], but this is never brought up in the show itself.
** [[LargeHam Jeremiah Gottwald]] isn't paranoid like Nina, but he's easily the most racist out of everyone in Britannia's army, given that during his brief stint as Margrave of Area 11, he takes a little ''too'' much joy in executing the Japanese. His racism begins to dwindle as he [[JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope begins to lose his sanity due to public humiliation]], and it more or less mellows out after he encounters [[{{Meido}} Sayoko]] several times.
** Luciano Bradley also has moments like this, although they're less prominent because he's unpleasant in many other ways. His last words are "My life is taken by a lowly Eleven?"
* Lord Cassandra Gladstone in ''Manga/CountCain'' [[VillainWithGoodPublicity likes to present himself as a philanthropist]], but behind closed doors is vocal about his hatred for the poor. He orchestrates [[spoiler:the bombing of the public opening of the Crimone Gardens]] and takes specific pleasure in the fact that most of the victims were lower-class.
* ''Anime/{{Daimos}}'' has a truly absurd example with [[BitchInSheepsClothing Georiya]], the [[AngelicAliens Baamite]] [[AlienPrincess Emperor]]'s [[TheCreon right-hand man]]. Georiya, for whatever reason, has it out for the Jewish people, despite the anime never mentioning Judaism or making any reference to it. In episode 39, he is seen practicing with a bow and arrow, and [[https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/Georiya?file=Georiya-arrow.png shoots the arrow]] right into the heart of two [[UsefulNotes/{{Judaism}} Star of David]] symbols.[[note]]The Star of David is a symbol used to denote Judaism, similar to a cross for Christianity.[[/note]] The anime never brings this up again or explains why Georiya is anti-semetic in particular when other episodes establish that he wants to [[KillAllHumans eliminate the human race in general]] because [[FantasticRacism he looks down on them]].
* ''Manga/DragonBallZ'':
** It's more due to [[GenocideBackfire fear]] than hatred, but Frieza has a beef against the Saiyan race, personified when he calls Goku and Vegeta "Saiyan monkeys." He's also quite disdainful of Namekians and their stubborn resistance to deny him the Dragon Balls.
** This racism towards Saiyans and Namekians is frequently seen from other members of King Cold's empire besides Frieza. In ''Anime/DragonBallZCoolersRevenge'', the EliteMooks of the titular antagonist react to the genocide of the Saiyans with genuine amusement, TheDragon Salza even derogatory saying "There goes the monkey farm" in the dub before trying [[WouldHurtAChild intercept]] the [[SpheroidDropship Attack Ball]] containing one escaped little monkey (Goku) before being stopped by Cooler who sees it as a waste of time. In the present Cooler's Sqaudron treat Goku, Gohan and Piccolo with contempt with TheBrute Dore wondering in dub when he meets Piccolo "Why isn’t that toad on his home planet where he belongs?" at which Neiz reminds him Frieza blew it up.
** There's also Demigra the BigBad of ''VideoGame/DragonBallXenoverse'' who derides the PlayerCharacter based on their race, considering Saiyans "monkey brutes", considers Namekians a bunch of slugs who should shut up and hand over their Dragon Balls, thinks Frieza's clan are a “miserable” bunch and believes Earthlings and Majin Buu’s race are trash who have no buiness defying someone of his status.
** The Saiyans have a very strict class hierarchy based on [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy strength.]] People born with very low PowerLevels are automatically relegated to the lowest class as babies and dismissed as genetic trash only fit for tasks like the SuicideMission. Saiyan society as a whole [[HardWorkHardlyWorks rejects]] the idea that one can ascend classes with hard work or that acquired qualities are more important than birth ones. This attitude is therefore freely expressed by characters who actually lived in Saiyan society:
*** One of Vegeta's beefs with Goku throughout the series, both before and after his HeelFaceTurn, is that Goku is a lower-class Saiyan, born at the absolute bottom of the pecking order, and thus should be a nobody while he's the Saiyan prince and should be the strongest by default. Right before their first battle, Vegeta rubs in the fact that Goku was a "reject" according to their society, and states "no amount of training will let you reach an elite like me." He also remorselessly kills Nappa after Goku breaks his back, because in his words, "Saiyans have no use for the paralyzed."
*** Raditz is a low-class warrior himself, but still expresses this attitude when meeting his little brother, Goku. He calls him a race traitor for identifying with his adopted home of Earth, disdains Goku's HalfHumanHybrid son, and says that [[TheSocialDarwinist Earthlings are weak and therefore undeserving of life]]. He planned to exterminate Earth's population and tried to force Goku into going along with it.
*** Nappa is a Saiyan noble with a similar attitude to Vegeta. He goes absolutely ''ballistic'' when Goku surpasses him via his latest training and starts beating him to a pulp.
---->'''Goku:''' [[UnskilledButStrong You're not used]] [[TheBully to fighting someone]] [[CurbStompBattle stronger than you.]]\
'''Nappa:''' You're not stronger than me, you little runt! Your strength was tested when you were a baby! You're a third-class Saiyan! I'm a Saiyan Elite, you low-class dog!
* ''Franchise/{{Gundam}}'':
** A large majority of the villains in ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeed'' and ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeedDestiny'', since most of the conflicts are sparked by racial tensions between normal humans and Coordinators, ([[ArtificialHuman genetically engineered humans]]). Blue Cosmos, which has a lot of influence in the Earth Alliance, actually wants to [[FinalSolution wipe out all Coordinators]] and calls them '[[FantasticSlur the monsters in space]]'. The radical factions in the Coordinator PLANT colonies aren't much better, with GeneralRipper Patrick Zala and KnightTemplar Ezalia Joule plotting to [[FinalSolution wipe out Earth's entire Natural population]].
*** Bonus points to Blue Cosmos leader Muruta Azrael who adds HeManWomanHater to his already severe FantasticRacism. It isn't to nearly the same degree, but he treats the female captain of the ''Dominion'' with utter contempt ("Ms. Captain"), and is the only male character in the show to actually use the phrase "bitch" when describing a girl.
** Before ''Gundam SEED'' was the original ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam'' saga. Ghiren Zabi expressed the superiority of the "spacenoid" race (those who were born and raised in space) and sought to get rid of those from Earth. In ''Anime/MobileSuitZetaGundam'' the Titans were the reverse -- they actually refused to allow those who were born in space to join their group. And then, ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamUnicorn'' revealed how harsh the level of animosity towards Newtypes were: [[spoiler:the original Universal Century charter revealed that, should a Newtype emerge, they should be given control of the space colonies. When a terrorist attack struck, the Earth Federation hid away the original charter and set it up so that ''they'' continued to control the colonies.]]
* ''Manga/HajimeNoIppo'': To add to the huge list of {{jerkass}}ery of Bryan Hawk, he's also shown to be racist against Japanese. In an AxCrazy rant, he tells the Japanese that if they want to be world champion so badly, they should send him all of their women so he'll give them his genes. In twenty years, Japan would be crawling with world champions.
* ''Literature/HeavyObject'' gives us Prizewell City Slicker who borders on AbsoluteXenophobe. He wanted to [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil reinstate slavery]] and rid the Legitimacy Kingdom of its foreign languages, attempted to wipe out a mine of miners defecting to the Kingdom, and tried to destroy the immigrant city on Victoria Island. He's also implied to have been behind several terrorist attacks involving the assassination of foreign language band members and foreign language school bombings, however, there was no evidence to him being involved.
* In the War of Austrian Succession arc of ''Webcomic/HetaliaAxisPowers'', Prussia mocks the idea of Maria Theressa ruling Austria and uses the opportunity to snag Silecia. The LemonyNarrator makes a lot of jokes about the ValuesDissonance of Prussia's reasoning. Maria Theresa, meanwhile, retaliates by bringing in [[ActionGirl Hungary]] to get rid of Prussia.
* ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure'': [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Dio Brando]] is '''''unapologetically''''' misogynistic, physically and verbally throwing his weight around women at best, and using them as sex slaves and food sources at worst. He does hold ''some'' women in decent regard, like [[EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas his mother]] and [[Manga/GoldenWind the four women]] [[Manga/StoneOcean he willingly had children with,]] but even in the latter case, his "regard" can essentially amount to "not immediately killing them right after bedding them".
** ''Manga/BattleTendency'':
*** The Nazis, of course; one of their first scenes has them having an entire Mexican village sent to be sacrificed to the Pillar Men [[YouAreACreditToYourRace (except for one who showed bravery)]]. However, [[spoiler: once the Pillar Men actually awaken, the Nazis [[EvenEvilHasStandards find them to be far more destructive and chaotic than they bargained for,]] and willingly [[EnemyMine team up]] with Joseph and Lisa-Lisa to take them down.]]
*** The two racist cops who harass Smokey Brown; [[RightForTheWrongReasons while they were right to stop him initially, as he had just pickpocketed Joseph,]] their physical assault of him and extortion of money from the wallet he took [[KickTheDog were completely unwarranted,]] and clearly racially-motivated.
** ''Manga/DiamondIsUnbreakable'': [[SerialKiller Yoshikage Kira]]. While he's indeed a misogynist, as he only targets women, he doesn't verbally or physically abuse them like DIO did. However, what he does is ''far'' worse; he kills them, [[ALoveToDismember keeps their severed hands for himself, flirts with them and takes them out on dates as if they were still alive.]]
** ''Manga/StoneOcean'':
*** Sports Maxx simply ''cannot'' resist the urge to call every woman he comes across a bitch, and his murder of [[spoiler: Gloria (and ''attempted'' murder of her sister Ermes)]] is needlessly cruel and sadistic.
*** The private detective [[spoiler: from Enrico Pucci's backstory, who is actually [[TheKlan a Klansman]]; he was originally tasked with breaking up Wes Bluemarine and Perla [[SurpriseIncest (who were actually brother and sister and didn't realize it)]], but once he finds out that Wes is African-American on his dad's side, he and his fellow Klansmen burn his house down and have Wes himself lynched.]] Also, given that [[spoiler: he refers to Wes' mother as a whore and drunkenly flirts with Perla and assaults her when she refuses his advances, it's safe to say he's rather sexist, as well.]]
** ''Manga/SteelBallRun'': [[PresidentEvil Funny Valentine]] exhibits classist tendencies when he condescendingly refers to Diego as a peasant for thinking he could negotiate with him as an equal. Ironically enough, despite [[TheWildWest the setting,]] Valentine is ''not'' racist, as he hires a black man, Mike O., to be the head of security for the White House.
* ''Manga/KoroshiyaYametai'' has Archbishop Ildebrando, a high-ranking religious leader who is organizing an armed revolution of the refugees, making him a WellIntentionedExtremist at best. He's also homophobic due to his religious beliefs, and when he [[spoiler:gives Benika a remote-activated bomb in order to kill Rose and keep classified information out of enemy hands]], he's perfectly fine with the collateral damage due to the victims being homosexual.
* Every single villain in ''Manga/MeAndTheDevilBlues'' is some level of racist. It's pretty telling that one of the least racist villains, who actually asks R.J. to play for his party, calls the blues "nigger music." Yeahhh...
* ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'': As if there [[HateSink weren't enough reasons to hate him already]], Madara Uchiha reveals himself to be a HeManWomanHater during his fight with Tsunade, spending much of said fight making sexist remarks.
* ''Manga/OnePiece'':
** [[FishPeople Arlong and Hody Jones]] are astoundingly brutal, sadistic, and unrepentant racists and Fishman supremacists who consider humans as little more than vermin and see nothing wrong with enslaving them or engaging in a full-on genocidal pogrom. Arlong has the ''slightly'' redeeming feature of caring greatly for his own men, but that means very little when you consider the many, ''many'' awful things he's done. Hody, on the other hand, doesn't even have that and is even nastier than Arlong, enough so to put him in the running for "biggest monster in the series". [[spoiler: And making things worse, Hody had ''minimal interactions with humans'' and created his genocidal New Fishmen Pirates based on his own conclusion of Fisher Tiger's legacy (believing he was killed by humans, when he died because of his own stubborn racism), and the stories Arlong passed along. It's makes for a perfect WhamLine when Fishman prince Fukaboshi asks him what his FreudianExcuse is, and his response is "Nothing".]]
** The Celestial Dragons aka World Nobles do manage to make Arlong and to a lesser extent Hordy look almost tame when it comes to this, their open racism and horrific abuse towards Fishmen along with their [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil slavery of them and other races]] is truly [[HateSink detestable]]. Saint Charlos in particular spends his first appearance trying to make (another) SexSlave out of an innocent woman while casually remarking that he's grown tired of his first four wives, and is the one who shoots Hatchan out of disgust, leading to a beautifully satisfying MegatonPunch to Charlos from Luffy. In Charlos’s next appearance he tries enslaving Shirahoshi before thankfully being stopped by WhiteSheep Mjosgard.
** Sanji’s brothers Ichiji, Niji and Yonji similar to Charlos have a disgustingly bad attitude towards lower classes and non-royal women in particular (Niji beating the shit of innocent chef Cosette for just making food he didn’t like). Another scene has the brothers hoping they can negotiate with Big Mom to hand the captured Nami over to them, with the clear implication they intend to make her a SexSlave. [[spoiler:Sorta justified since it’s revealed their father Judge altered them in the womb so that they’d have [[LackOfEmpathy almost no humanity]] believing that would make them better conquerors, with only Sanji being unaffected thanks to his mother taking a drug to counteract Judge’s alterations.]]
** Admiral Ryokugyu justifies the rampant discrimination the World Government endorses as a completely necessary part of human existence, saying that the world runs off creating and defining "the inferior". And that's right after he declares that anyone not part of the World Government falls in the category of “non-human” and lacks any form of human rights.
* ''Franchise/PuellaMagiMadokaMagica'': [[spoiler: Kyubey]] is a firm believer in MotherNatureFatherScience. Specifically, it thinks of females, especially teenage girls, as [[HystericalWoman overemotional]], disposable pawns to be used in their [[spoiler:energy-siphoning operation]]; and the fact that [[spoiler:it doesn't seem to have contracted with any males]] seems to imply that [[spoiler:it doesn't think males are "emotional enough"]]. {{Justified|Trope}} since [[spoiler:Kyubey]] is [[spoiler:a HiveMind with no concept of individuality, so it's only natural that [[BlueAndOrangeMorality it would see every other species in the same light]]]].
* ''Manga/{{Radiant}}'': Konrad de Marbourg's prime goal is to rid Rumble Town of immigrants [[spoiler:− he already killed many (indirectly but willingly) during the Norst-East Suburb incident −]] and he's notorious even among his co-inquisitors for being a racist jerk. The author clarifies that some of his dirtiest lines are almost verbatim quotes from real politicians, including former French Prime Minister Manuel Valls.
* ''Anime/RevolutionaryGirlUtena'': The villains generally tend to be massive misogynists who think [[TheHeroine Utena]] is just a little girl. In the final battle, the BigBad End of the World/[[spoiler:Akio Ohtori]], who had already been established as the worst of them, tells Utena to stop fighting for Anthy's freedom and become his princess because, according to him, girls can't handle any power and dresses don't go with swords.
* ''Manga/RurouniKenshin'': In the arc that introduces Sanosuke, we encounter three very minor characters, (they don't even get names) drunkenly and nastily arguing while the Kenshin gang is trying to eat at Akabeko. We know they're not nice characters right away, and it's taken up a notch when one of them throws a sake jug that hits Kenshin in the head and then refuses to apologize, but things get taken up to a whole new level when one of the waitresses very politely comes over and asks them to keep it down and the biggest of the three responds by saying "And now a ''female'' is mouthing off?!!" and hitting her. Notably, [[HistoricalInJoke these drunkards were democratic activists]]; at this stage in Japanese history the 'government of the people' was extremely elitist and [[ValuesDissonance political parties were illegal]]. The guys drop a bunch of real names and are apparently using the cause to make themselves feel important while talking about freedom. Sano calls them on hypocrisy: '''he''' was mentored by a ''real'' populist. They also bring up the separatist leader Saigo Takamori as a 'hero.' Given his army was Satsuma samurai and was defeated by a conscript army of citizens from all backgrounds, and Kaoru's father was killed on the government side just the previous year, it all brings up a lot of emotional complexity.
* ''Anime/SailorMoon'':
** During Jadeite's final battle against the Sailor Senshi, he out of nowhere makes a number of sexist and disparaging remarks about them, their intelligence, and their fighting abilities. [[CarFu They then run him over with an airplane.]]
** Later, FillerVillain Ail/Alan makes a remark about "[[LovesTheSoundOfScreaming the screaming of young girls are music to my ears!]]"
* Similarly, ''Anime/SamuraiChamploo'' also has a very similar scene to the Kenshin one in its first episode, where a boorish nobleman is sexually harassing the waitresses at the restaurant Fuu works at and generally attacking very threateningly. After being promised free food to intervene, [[SociopathicHero Mugen]] slaughters the guy's guards and performs MutilationInterrogation on him.
* In ''Manga/{{Shitsurakuen}}'', the terms "villain" and "misogynist" are pretty much synonyms.
* ''Manga/SoulEater'': After revealing his betrayal [[spoiler: Justin Law, besides being an AxCrazy psychopathic HeroKiller zealot who worships a GodOfEvil, is revealed to be an extreme misogynist. He looks down on Marie's fighting abilities for being a "lowly woman" and later after killing a female hero calls her an "abject pig"]].
* A ''lot'' of unpleasant characters in ''Anime/YuGiOh5Ds'' fit, at least in the first season, seeing as the upper class of Neo Domino City tended to look down on the lower class of Satellite. The term "Satellite scum" is a common slur. Oddly, enough, [[spoiler: Rex Godwin, the first BigBad of the series does ''not'', seeing as he was actually born there.]]
